For all that Snakeheart views and thoughts on Stormtalon had changed of late it was sometimes unforgettable that this tom wasnt actually his brother. He was not Chivepaw or Fidgetpaw who knew and loved to come crashing into him with a physical affection knowing how much they all enjoyed it or Kestrelstar who while was less cuddly shared a physical ease in movement with Snakeheart that made them feel ever in tune. He'd overstepped here and the only real way he knew how to bring comfort to those he trusted had not done that at all. Strangely that new knowledge was relaxing as it was sad, and the medicine cat was simply unable to tell why.


New warriors and while usually the tom didnt care to really celebrate in the traditional cheering always finding it kinda stupid but these names were hard earned. It at least deserved some recognition in some way and the tom mused over it thinking for a second before Stormtalons words derailed that train of thought. Snakeheart cocked his head at the older tom confused and curious as to where this would even go when his next droll words shocked an actual proper snort of laughter of out the snappy medicine cat. It was just so unexpected and dry and perfectly honest he knew, stars when was the last time Snakeheart had even laughed? The young tom really didnt know and perhaps it was simply the shock of the half joke and that it actually made him laugh that made it impossible for the medicine cat to bite down soft giggles (more of quiet snorted huffs of air but basically giggles for Snakeheart) for a good five seconds. By the time he'd managed it Stormtalon was half up and the somali shifted a bit to give him space to escape with no hard feelings even as he'd turned his head to watch the older tom get ready to pad off.


Sharp green eyes softened a bit at the warriors words and he nodded solemnly replying with a simple "I wish the same for you." as he accepted the tail touch and watched Stormtalon go. No more words needed to be said when they both understood from few.


Stormtalon wouldnt be missing much it seemed with Kestrelstar simply officially announcing the cessation of hostilities and the return to normality, simply with a bit more weight and grief on everyones shoulders and the addition of a new stretch of territory. It was the right call and the cove was the least of the payment they deserved for the blood that was shed. Nothing more to say and the meeting over Snakeheart simply let out a "Congratulations new warriors, may your careers be long and free from my den as much as possible." the closest thing to well wishes the grumpy tom ever managed before he slipped back into the medicine cats den.

Hmm yes, today was a kind day, a bright day, and would be cemented as so forever in Sunsetbloom in a crystalline silver as Palehound was named warrior. Even if they werent very close (yet ever yet, the large molly was already determined to not let such a treasure pass her by and only be a fading dream in her life) the warrior already considered her a friend and a beautiful soul besides so this wonderful moment for her was special. Palehound deserved this after all this time as an apprentice and the actions she took that were already more then on par with many a warrior. Because of course it was a special and wonderful day for Brightdream to be celebrated and the brown and white mollys favor for her friend did nothing to change that.

Still her voice softened still purr rumbled and so warm.
"Congratulations you more then earned this and your name is a beautiful that fits your soul perfectly."
Even if the molly didnt hear it Sunsetbloom more then meant it.

Palehound ducked her head to allow Kestrelstar to press his nose to her after seeing him do the same for Brightdream. As he pulled away and the cats surrounding her roared their names into the sky, her pelt felt like it had been set ablaze, all too warm underneath the stares of her clanmates.
Her ears fold back to block out th÷ deafening sound when she catches a much sweeter call, sound barely there and yet all she could hear. She turns to look for the face she'd grown to associate with friendship and an odd sort of tranquility.
She catches her gaze from across the sea of cats and she burned brighter, no longer from the embarrassment of being known, now replaced with the euphoria of being seen, truly and completely.
Perhaps she would be able to speak with her before she and Brightdream went to sit vigil. With their warrior ceremony now completed, she backed up into the crowd once more and trotted back to her previous place, unfortunately any space beside Sunsetbloom was already taken up by their clanmates, but she made sure to nod at her as she passed.

As she sat back down, Kestrelstar began another string of announcements, all regarding previous ThunderClan issues. She listened in disbelief as he revoked the merciless assault they'd been wreaking to ThunderClan's borders.
While she didn't partake in them and didn't really want to, it was.... strange to see him repeal the laws he had placed not too long ago, but she supposed it was a step in the right direction. She wasn't sure she wanted to continue feuding with a Clan that couldn't fight back properly.

Riverstripe was happy that the exiled cats would be welcomed back but she knew Thunderclan had learned thier lesson and Riverclan should not be holding Firefly cove.
