Featherpaw noticed Brackenfire and tried to run toward her. "B-brackenfire..." He stammered, his vision clouded by blood. He didn't like this at all. No no no, it was agony. He ran toward her, but then he got CLONKED by a large hailstone, which made him lose consciousness.
Brackenfire's eyes darted around as she hurried Lionkit to the safety of her little corner. "Stay here, I'll get you to the nursery as soon as I can, okay little lioness?" She cooed softly, before her sunny yellow gaze locked on a kid that wasn't kin but instead was a friend. A cat she was rather fond of, or as fond as she could be. "Stay." She murmured to the little kit, before shooting through the hail to stand over Featherpaw who collapsed nearby. Damn, the hail was a killer. Since her shelter corner was closest and she had a granddaughter to return to, she carried the young tom to the nearby shelter, laying him down beside Lionkit. "Keep an eye out for any of your siblings, okay little lion?" She ordered, leaning down to swiftly lick both young cats on the tops of their heads, trying to clean Featherpaw of blood and keep Lion calm.
[ @Ladieboo - sorry for double post, had to have bracken nab her other kid haha ]

ShadowClan's princess had been dutifully minding her own business when all of a sudden!! Hard things started falling from the sky!! What the heck?!! Do they not understand who they're falling on?? The sheer audacity!! It was even more annoying when one of them landed right on her tail!!
"Owie!!" She cried out indignantly and spun around to see the culprit sitting on the ground menacingly. The little torbie growled ferociously at it and crouched down into what was totally a perfect battle crouch before pouncing on the evil doer!! Yikes!! That's cold!!! She hisses in surprise and stands up, her fur on end and back arched!! Where was Cougerpapa?? Where were her siblings?! She had to protect them from this horror!!

Oh great...
The ear splitting chaos outside, made him stagger to his paws and peek outside. Huh... Hail? From the ruckus, he was expecting a LOT worse than a god damn hail storm.... Jesus Christ... These guys were nuts. Scowling faintly, he pushed himself from the den and into the havoc. Feeling the smaller bits of ice bounce off his pelt, he glanced around at his clan mates. Watching them scramble around like it was the end of the world was admittedly hilarious, but he didn't dare show it. Padding further into the clearing, the massive tom watched some folks flop to the ground with a dead panned expression. Ha! What a bunch of losers- CLONK! A large piece of hail sent stars flying into his vision, as he slightly staggered. Wow... That kinda... Hurt. Shaking away the looming darkness, he decided it was time to help out.
Watching Snips haul off Rufflepaw, he turned to look for another cat in need for his amazing help. He didn't see anyone in particular, Mothkit was already hauled off by some rando. He didn't see anymore of his rats, so that was a relief. Doing a swift roundabout of the clearing, he halted under a overhanging ledge and continued his search. If these goons were smart, then they'd avoid the clearing. Unfortunately, he knew there were quite a few dumbies here, so his job wasn't over. Hunkering down where he was, he hunched over and kept his icy gaze alert. Dawnstar seemed to be handling things quite well, which was unfortunate. He kinda wanted her to get clobbered over the head just so he could be her knight-in-shining-armor. It didn't seem like that would be the case... Which was good, but disappointing to a degree. Letting those selfish thoughts slip away he resumed his search and rescue mission.
After a heartbeat or so, his absolutely grueling work paid off as he caught sight of ditzy kit attempting to kill some ice. How fun. Almost wanting to let natural selection take place, he darted from cover and closed the distance between them. Standing over the delusion scrap, he shielded the kit from the hail that whistled past them. Ok... Time for part two of this rescue mission. "Heya, kiddo. I hope you don't mind me kidding ya for a second. " without waiting for a response, he stooped down and grabbed the kit by the scruff. Eyeing the nursery, he darted to safety. Ignoring the sharp pain of ice tearing up his literal spine, he skidded to a halt in front of the den. Chucking the child into the safe space, he peered inside to get one last look at the kit. " Do me a HUGE favor and stay right here alright? " ducking out of the den he charged back to his original hiding spot and awaited for more victims of this no-good, very terrible, ice storm.

He'd just trot into camp, a decently sized moss clump clamped gently in his maw. That was until it wasn't. He hadn't even noticed the sky raining down frozen rocks until one smashed into his paw, causing the tabby to reel backwards and drop the clump with a yelp. Bringing his poor wittle damaged paw to his mouth and licking it, believing that it would surely make the pain go away.
Taking a moment to process what was happening. Even letting out a laugh as he'd seen a few of his Clanmates get hit with them. That. That right there made the pain go away. His tiny paw now much much much better. Scooting to pick up his little moss clump the Apprentice made his way towards where the Deputy was hiding. Only letting the other tom know he's aware he's there by giving a 2 minute stare.
Only for Eveningpaw to quickly swivel on his haunches, and hold his little moss...nest? Hold his moss clump just barely out of said cover. Maybe he'd catch some of those ice killer ball things.

A big shadow was suddenly covering her and, unfortunately, her vile and icy nemesis was lost. How shameful. They'd have to have a rematch soon!! The big shadow then grabbed her! Yikes, she hadn't been expecting that!! Momentarily stunned into inaction, Hawkkit froze in place, staring after the retreating body. What the-? HEY??!! ONLY COUGARPAPA WAS ALLOWED TO PICK HER UP LIKE THAT!! MEANIE!!!
The princess did not know this vile cats name, but she decided from that moment forth they were mortal enemies! No one manhandles her like that!! No one except for papa!! With a huff, she lashed her little tail (still a little sore from the ice that hit it) and glowered very menacingly after the meanies back.
Today was a particularly cold day, even for ShadowClan standards. An ice-bitten breeze had swept its way throughout the ravine with only shivers left in its wake. The sky above was a looming gray, unnatural in essence. From an outsider's perspective, the cloud only lingered above ShadowClan's clearing. (Perhaps even an observant cat would note... the clouds seem to have come from RiverClan's direction. A sign, maybe?)
PLUNK.
A rock-sized piece of ice clang against the stony camp floor. Then another PLUNK from another chunk of hail. PLUNK. PLUNK. The hail was coming down faster in similarly sized pieces.
Cloverpaw didn't bother answering the warrior, seeing as he had already began moving on to what she wanted in the first place. However his sentence bounced around in her head for a moment longer, the question stumping her. Wouldn't they simply just keep surviving and fighting like clan cats should? Who cares about emotion and trivial matters when life and death are on the line? When peace is on the line?
"I don't! I have nothing more important to me than learning. I believe I know the basics." Only from watching older apprentices train while she was a kit... but she got the general idea. Crouch down, tail curled against her body to keep it out of the way, and claws out to immediately kill the prey. Right?
(So sorry for the delay!)
Rattail gave the younger a nod at her response, looking at the entrance to start leading cloverpaw to train but he paused seeing the sky darken. He almost pushed it off until the ice started to fall from the sky.
His ears flattened as he hissed at the ice falling around them, the first sign of anything other then being calm from the tom.
"I guess that will have to wait, i'm not taking you out there with this, we could get hurt"
He mumbled to the other, seeming disappointed at the sudden change of weather.
He started to softly nudge cloverpaw towards some cover, not forcing it if she decided to stay but more of a suggestion
Skybranch almost hissed when a piece of hail struck her in the side. The queen headed back to the nursery where she would be safe from the hail as soon as the hail struck her side.
Flamekit barely managed to avoid getting struck by hail until he could hide from the ruuning cats and the hail under his mother. He headed to the nursery, safe under his mother.
Hail struck Eaglekit in the nose, causing her to squeal and run under her mother with Flamekit. Now safe, she headed to the nursery with her mother and brother.
Spiderkit ws suddenly struck in the back by hail. The kit almost fell over, but managed to steady herself. The fact she had six toes on each foot sure helped her stay on her feet, as did her giant size. Letting out a hiss, the giant almost 4 moon old headed back to the nursery, walking slowly so Littlekit could easily keep up.
Littlekit was grateful to his sister, not that he had expected anything else. After all if you knew her well you would be perfectly aware that, despite her giant size for her age she was quite gentle and loving. He himsel was fairly large compared to most of the other kits despite his name, but Spiderkit was massive. She was one of the largest kits in the nursery, as she was probaly already bigger than a few of the smallest apprentices.
Twistedkit squealed when it began hailing and headed back to the nursery. She somehow managed to make it back to the nursery without being tripped on or struck by hail.

₊˚.༄ ೃ - Lynxshade was taking a nap in the warriors' den when sh heard some turmoil stirring up outside. At the same moment a strong rain started hitting the ceiling of her den, only that it wasn't rain. As cats started screaming outside, she quickly realized that hail had begun falling and younger cats were being hit by hit.
She rose to her paws and stopped at the entrance to take a look around. Her first thought immediately went to the youngest in camp, and she noticed how some warriors and Dawnstar were quick to snatch them up from the ground. "Everyone go and shelter under the dens! Take the kits with you!" She yowled from the warriors' den, hoping that her words would reach the most uncertain apprentices and warriors.
Had these cats never seen a hail in their life?
She rose her green gaze to the gray sky, remembering with sadness all the times she'd seen ice fall from the sky when she lived outside with her family. With my brother.
And anyway, ice was so much better than fire.
After that terrible experience, Lynxshade was sure nothing else could disturb er as much.

Pumpkinkit's paws froze while she looked up in horror, she wanted to run but her paws didn't work at that moment, she had never felt so scared, she started screaming with fear, her paws thawed, allowing her to run to the safety of the nearest den, but she was too slow.
