she lightly gazed at the stream fascinated by the water and the way it flowed, it was surprisingly beautiful as she looked with her silver eyes after she finished up she looked over to him" you look like you have something on your mind, would you like to get it off your chest" she asked the tom

The young tom jumped in surprise as the older calico approached him. For a moment he stared at Mossythorn, mouth opening and closing but no sound coming out. Finally he managed to say, "Well, uh, nothing at the moment, really. Why?" His eyes sparked suspiciously and he drew his paws closer to his body. He didn't know this cat. Why was he talking to him?

"Oh cool your little paws." He said dryly and sarcastically. Is this kit new or something? The tom took a few more paw steps, not wanting to scare the dung out of him. "I'm just saying hello, no need to be suspicious or weary." Mossythorn shrugging, sitting down in front of the kit a good few foxtails lengths away. Placing his soft, feathery tail over his paws and he looked at his paws casually.

"But I wanna protact them!" Sunkit crouching with his hindlegs still standing. Acting like his adopted father was the enemy and swiped at his front paws. "The warriors need meeeeeeee." He wailed at Dirtfur.

Dirtfur chuckled at his kit's enthusiasm. He wrapped his tail around Sparrowkit and Sunkit. "The warriors will need you when you are old enough." he meowed softly, round eyes locked on the kits sparkling with love; he is very proud to become a father, though he wished being one of the best warriors can be that easy as being a father of these two kits; although, Sunki and Sparrowkit are indeed a handful at times. "When you become a warrior, us warriors will grow old enough to need you." he purred.

"Well, okay..." Sparrowkit put his head down and made it look like he was sad. Then, he pounced! Well, It was more like a hop, but nevertheless, he thought it was a pounce. He was giggling happily.

"When will we be old enough?" Sunkit asking, his blazing pelt standing out against the brown. Head tilted in wonder the young tom looked up at Dirtfur. But in a heartbeat the tom's attention was snatched away by his fathers tail. Letting out a tiny (cute) growl, Sunkit tried to pounce on the tail but ended up stumbling due to his stubby legs. Blinking a few times to figure out what happen, he was on the tail but it was so fluffy that it nearly swallowed him.

Dirtfur looked up at the sky, thinking how old will Sunkit and Sparrowkit will be to become apprentice then warrior. "Well you'll be six moons old to become an apprentice, and- ack!" he was attacked, by Sparrowkit! The warrior didn't caught the surprise made by the kits. Then he felt a tug and thump. Turning around to see what happened, he spotted a cute Sunkit lying on the dirt-cat's fluffy tail. He gave a smile.
