A patrol, huh? She really didnt feel like doing it, but the earful she would get afterwards for not showing up would be even more troublesome. Thankfully no apprentices were assigned to her group, or she would have just flat out refused to even show up. Shooting an icy glare at Shadestorm as she passed him, the molly slowly stalked over to the cat who had called her name. Elmshadow, presumably. While he was the ´leader´ of the patrol, she had no plans of actually listening to him. She did what she wanted, and that was the end of it. Glancing around and not spotting any other cat approaching them, she scoffed lightly, ¨Lets just go already, I dont feel like waiting¨ she stated, rolling her eyes as she already started heading to the camp exit.

Time passed and there was no sign of Peachtuft. Gingercry was caught off-guard by a hefty yawn. He shrugged and turned toward the camp entrance, tossing over his shoulder, "Peachtuft can catch up, but we might as well get this patrol started before I fall asleep on these old paws." Gingercry chuckled to himself as he picked up the pace out the entrance.

Elmshadow padded through the camp entrance feeling more irritable than he'd like to have after a simple border patrol. He walked straight to the base of the Shadowledge to find Shadestorm. He lifted his chin and started, "Gingerpaw failed to show up for the patrol. Addersnow and I refreshed the markers along the Riverclan border. There didn't appear to be anything amiss while we were out. However," He glanced over his shoulder before facing the deputy once more. "I'd keep an eye on Addersnow. She strikes me as sure and strong but her motivations are...suspicious." He bowed his head slightly before walking away.

[when reporting do not wait for a response from me with Shadestorm, just give the report. I probably won't have him respond unless it's something more important.

Patrol leader who fail to report and warriors who don't show up might be punished by Dawnstar (unless you have an OOC excuse before the due date or request extra time)]

Somehow everything felt extremely repetitive and stressful at the same time, Shadestorm was walking on eggshells around his leader while also doing the same thing every. single. day. Waking up, cleaning himself and preparing for the day, doing his duties, patrols and so on. Just the same thing, he was reliving the same day again and again while also stressing for what Dawnstar might think. It felt like she would demote or kill him. At least the voice in his head had stopped pestering him, instead Hawkshade's words had began to echo in here, that he was to proud or greedy or something like that. Anyway, he would have to do teh patrols no mater what his former apprentice thought at the moment.

Sleetpaw was practically exploding from excitement. His first patrol! Wow!! Sure, it wasn't with his mentor, but this would be so much fun! He looked around for Hogstep, and bounded over when he saw the warrior. "Where are we going hunting?!" he asked loudly, in a bit of an annoying tone.

He hadn't spoke to his mentor much, but he guessed that would be changing in the near future.
He eyed Blackpaw, aware that they were in the same boat with the "mentors" topic.

Maggotpaw fallowed Sleetpaw more slowly, not excited to go at all. She had been hoping to make it through the moon of eternal torture without having to go on a patrol. At least it wasn’t a border patrol, she guessed. Less chance of the other Clans learning about her punishment.

“I’m ready to go.” She glanced swiftly at Sleetpaw before looking away again. She made a point of not asking where they were going because she didn’t need to know. She would prove she was much more mature than Sleetpaw.

Blackpaw grumbled, walking up to a Clovernose and Ryepaw. He felt as if he should be more excited for his first patrol, but was more of just a annoying waste of time. Ryepaw seemed okay, but Blackpaw was pretty sure he would end up hating him later. He was unsure how he thought of his new mentor, but time would tell whether or not this cat would he someone he actually liked.
