Duckpaw smiled as her mentor aproved of her, so one again, the apprentice searched the area for any animal she could find. Suddenly, a bird landed on the ground, probably just wanting to take a rest. Perfect, Duckpaw thought to herself. Not only would it be something else she would get to catch, but it would also be a challange for her. A fun one. Once again, Duckpaw dropped down into her hunters crouch and stayed quiet and low to the ground. Just when the bird least expected it, Duckpaw striked, clawing it forcefully and pinning it down, then biting its neck. Still holding the bird with her teeth, Duckpaw turned to Salmonsong and grinned.

Salmonsong gave a smile,” Nicely done, come lets stop at cattail pond and fish for a little bit.” she meowed leading the way to cattail pond, she was quite proud of her apprentice and couldn’t wait to see her become an apprentice.

Rainsplash sped out of camp, not caring much as reeds scratched his sides as he raced off to Lion's beach. He had learned from Sootflare and Lionstar's warning, so he wanted to be quick and get this done as soon as possible. He was also excited because he hadn't gone to Lion's beach in a while.

Loonpaw raced out of camp after her mentor, feeling the blood rushing in her ears and her heart rate quickening as she dashed through the reeds. Her thick black tail stood up behind her as she excitedly dodged and weaved between obstacles, feeling a bit surprised at her swiftness given she could barely dash a few fox-lengths for prey back when she was a loner. She was getting stronger, faster, and smarter as a clan cat...


"We're going to catch a bunch of gulls?" She chirped as she ran, her brain buzzing with excitement. "I think when I was a loner I tried catching a few, though I don't recall if i ever caught one. I seem to remember they were a bit too... pecky..."

silvershade had one goal and that was to make the camp look all pretty and sparkly and cute and just more eye-pleasing! however, so far that was NOT going so well. it was really disheartening. seriously. silvershade let out a huff, glancing around.

Robinwing approached Silvershade and nicely asked "are you having a problem?" Robinwing had been watching them as they scrambled around trying to make it look pretty. I shouldn't be too rude to them, even though they aren't doing this the way I would. I should do this her way... Robinwing thought for a moment. I will suggest one thing though, she continued in her head. "Ya know flowers aren't the only pretty thing you can decorate with, and there's only so many in Riverclan territory. We should try and find some ivy and shells, maybe even some branches to wrap them around." she suggested.

Sparkblaze padded out of the camp, she felt...like she needed a break. The camp was just SO LOUD. She put her ears to her head, she did that when she just didn't want to hear anything. When she was farther away from the camp, she perked her ears up. She heard something...someone. Counting? Decorating the den...what the- "Oh..pfffft! Sorry, I-i didn't see you there." Sparkblaze meowed, finally seeing Silvershade in the tree. "Uhhh is that...WHY ARE YOU IN THE TREE?" She said in a panicked whisper. Trees are very bad, very very bad. The ginger molly thought as she looked up. The tree was so much bigger than the smaller she-cat.

Wait. Acorns were probably way more easier to get from in the tree. It was a dangerous mission but-- Silvershade stared back up at the tree, taking in a deep breath. For the sparkles. The warrior climbed right back up the tree,

"Whoop.. just.. gotta--" Silvershade heaved their self onto a branch with a grunt. Please say this tree wasn't out of acorns-- They turned around at someone's voice.

"Wha?" Silvershade stared down at Sparkblaze. Their eyes widened in surprise then they grinned. That was an clanmate! Oh, oh gosh yes. "HI, SPARKBLAZEEEE!" They yowled down, "OH. I'M JUST LOOKING FOR SOME ACORNS. DO YOU WANT TO HELP? IT'S GOING TO-- one moment, " Yelling at Sparkblaze was too hard.

Once again, Silvershade slipped back down the tree and got back down on ground-level. Rolling their shoulders, "Hiya, " They giggled. "I'm gathering up acorns!"

Silvershade let out a giggle, "Well-- yeahhh. I mean, we are Riverclan. It's what we're known for! Though, psst. Psst. " They turned around back to Skyripple, leaning in closer. "Don't tell anyone but I'm not really a fan of waterrrrr.. shh, "

Pulling back, Silvershade would flash a smile and glance around the river for any possible flower bushes or flowers in general. Very much grateful for Skyripple's help.

"Me too," Skyripple whispered. She thought of Streampaw and sighed. "We could jump?" she offered. "Even though we're not SkyClan..." She giggled with Silvershade. Whoa. Did I just...giggle?

Following closely behind was Sleetpaw, his ears perked up and eyes finally shining with something other than grief. It had felt like forever since he'd been out and about... and that stupid kit had messed up their original attempt.

Please no more distractions! He thought to himself, picking up his pace so that he was now moving alongside Sparkblaze,

"Where are we going?"

After his last interaction with Fawnsqueak.. Thistlestep decided to take some matters into his own paws to try to alleviate some of his younger brother's stress.

Getting Firehawk on board with this herb hunting expedition was easy. All it took was a 'want to help Fawn' and he was bouncing out of camp like an excited kit. Thistlestep hardly understood it but he was grateful for the assistance as they roamed the territory. He swore, Firehawk stopped at every flower he glimpsed.

It was very much a "ooh a pretty flower!" every few moments. Thistlestep made a point to ignore it as he collected a stick from the ground, using it to poke around some dark little holes he saw in order to easily collect cobwebs. Before long, he had a few decent sized cobwebs wrapped around the stick..

But it filled his mouth so he couldn't carry much more by the time he stumbled across a patch of marigold. He knew this! .. The infection herb Fawnsqueak told him about, it seemed to do wonders for Warblerpaw's back.

"Foireawk!" He called through the stick, voice slurred by trying to speak around it.

Firehawk popped right on over with his small collection of flower stems in his jaw, leaves included on some of them. Thistlestep didn't recognize any of the flowers.. he had a blue flower, and a red flower that looked kinda like a poppy but Thistlestep wouldn't put a stake in that. "You want me to get these?" A nod of confirmation and Firehawk plucked a couple of the yellow flowers away from the cluster, trying to carefully place the stems in his mouth. Likely to avoid damaging them.

Since this seemed to be.. more than enough for two cats, Thistlestep beckoned him to follow as he headed back to camp. Maybe Fawnsqueak could use some of these.
