“At the moment? I was on the verge of going hunting,” Riverwood stated. She turned, starting to pad out of the clearing. She stood tall and prideful. With her thick long fur around her neck and her proud posture, you could almost mistake her for a noble lion, prowling around it’s clan.
Hunting? Yes, that sounded fun. She followed Her out of the clearing behind her. "Im coming with you, because i have nothing better to do, and im hungry"
He paused for a moment, breathing heavily, listening to the commotion that had erupted behind him (were some of them laughing?), then inhaled deeply and turned to face the gathered cats. His voice held a certain edge to it - strained and angry, but also so, so tired.
"Everything that Frostpaw said was a lie. Rainywhisker played no part in her betrayal. He received a vision explaining the current circumstances: the sign given to Coldamber was fake, and Frostpaw's position was not rightfully earned. He came to speak to me about it. I called Frostpaw in to talk to her, explain to her, and then demote her. In response, she attacked and killed me."
He shot Rainywhisker a brief glance. "Clearly she didn't count on me coming back. I didn't want it to come to this. I gave her an opportunity to leave ThunderClan, leave the territory. And... well, you just saw what happened as a result of that."
He rolled his shoulders and stood a bit taller, trying not to look at the blood on his claws. He knew some thought he'd taken it too far - he could see it in their faces, hear their whispers. But what would have happened if she'd run off? She might have killed someone else. He couldn't take that chance. "We've faced quite a few hardships in these past moons. I could have prevented the coyotes and this by acting faster instead of waiting for a sign, or for it to land right on top of us. So, from now on, if there's a threat on our borders or anywhere else, we'll stamp it out at the source." His claws scraped across the bark of the tree branch as his expression shifted into something more determined. "And as much as I hate to say it, this applies to our own Clanmates as well from now on. There seem to have been an abundance of cats here who believe they can act maliciously toward others. If any of you see anyone who thinks they can get away with such actions, report them to me, and I'll take care of them. I won't be waiting for things to escalate too far any longer. I won't sit around and let disaster overtake and hinder us. That's not the kind of leader I'm going to be."
He glanced over his shoulder at Frostpaw's body, then back out to his Clan. "I want someone to take Frostpaw's body to the outskirts and leave it. There won't be a vigil, or a burial. Those who lie and kill don't deserve that honor. You're all dismissed."
His voice lost its edge and his entire body seemed to sag as he turned to Rainywhisker. "Er- I think I'll make a visit to your den, if you don't mind."

Eaglepaw frowned. Too bad the chaos was over. It was fun while it lasted. She wondered if she'd have been able to pull that trick off better than Frostpaw and do it right.
Lightpaw just turned to the apprentices' den. He wanted to take a nap.
padding bad to stand by the Thunderwillow, Eveningmist felt a smile come to her face as Buckstar spoke. She was proud of him, and she was proud of her clan. Yes, she was only around half his age, but she still felt proud of him. Thunderclan would no longer just be sitting ducks who waited for trouble to come to them. They would stop the problem head on, without waiting for anyone. The deputy stood up tall, a confident smile on her maw. As he dismissed the meeting, her eyes clouded with worry as she took her first good look at his injuries. They...they were bad. It was hard to see the wounds through all the blood that covered his pelt, but they were there alright. Swallowing thickly, she gazed up at him, ¨Buckstar, I will get everything sorted out. For now you should rest.¨ she mewed, nodding politely at him.

Poor Buckstar. Her poor leader hadnot had a good past couple of days. Of course... none of them had... but she could tell he was going to carry the guilt of everything that had happened on his shoulders for the rest of his lives.
How could Frostpaw do this? What was she hoping to accomplish? And to blame Rainywhisker! Her mind spun with questions she knew would never be answered. They died with the traitorous she-cat lying dead in their camp.
"Eveningmist, I can offer assistance in disposing of Frostpaw." She offered. Robinwhisker was sure that her friend was hurting right now too. The least she could do was be there for her.
I'll do it! ~thunderchaser had a solid hatred for frostpaw. She wanted to throw frostpaws dead body to foxes (get it foxes , because cause im fox C: ) ~
The tom slides into the den after that horrid meeting, padding towards the corner where their little trickle of water bubbled past to rinse his paws. He had no worry of fouling it, since it did indeed move somewhere (he had never taken the time to investigate where it ended up, however). Once his bloodied paws were clean, the gray tom shuffles further on back past his nest and to the herb storage. They were low on it all. Cobwebs, as well, now that most of his Clanmates needed bandaging following the brutal coyote attack. Rainywhisker can't help but let out a disappointed sigh. How would he ever manage to keep ThunderClan on their paws now that Frostpaw was gone? She spitefully kept what she knew of healing to herself, and kept any conversations with the other medicine cats focused around her and the drama she wished to stir. All he'd gotten from that lot was a few "Sorry you're the babysitter"s. Looking back on it now, it was almost infuriating. He kneads the soft ground with his claws for a heartbeat as he stares emptily at their supply.
Catching the sound of gentle rustling, Rainywhisker turns to see who had woken up, or come in, or started to tragically pass away while their only medicine cat lamented his duties like a teenager. It was Applepaw. At least she wasn't tragically passing away. The dark gray tom slips away from the dismal storage space to approach. "How are you holding up?" he asks in the quiet of the den. "Are your injuries bothering you?"
