Toothless laughed, amusement gleamed in his green hues as he watched the kit run around. He sneezed when a snowflake landed on his nose, tickling the small pink bump. Once Runningkit got up again he jumped up and crouched, his tail lashing back and fourth behind him "I'm a big nasty Shadowclan Warrior, and I am here to take over Riverclan, what are you going to do Runningstar?" he said in a low, gravely voice, trying his hardest to mimic a Shadowclan warrior. He flicked they kits ear with the tip of his paw and jumped back, but not too far back, he didn't want to bump into the Apprentices den, and he didn't really plan on being scolded Infront of his daughter. He missed days like these, where he could do nothing but play, relax, have fun, be free, but he knew better, he was a warrior now and he hadn't a family to take care of, a family he cared deeply for, his heart would be torn to shreds if he let anything bad happen to them. He narrowed his eyes as his kit approached him, ready to fall onto his back in the freezing cold just to make sure she has fun, just to make sure she's happy, to make sure she has the best kithood he can give her.

Runningkit---no Runningstar gasped in shock, before growling in anger, wincing as her father batted his paws at her ears, with a growl she got into a stance, ready to pounce. She was ready. "How dare you attack our camp! Riverclan, attack!" She squeaked, launching herself at Toothless, batting her paws on his chest. "You will be defeated!" She mewed with a squeaky snarl, batting angrily. Runningkit was having lots of fun by now, pawing and batting fiercely as she could, well, pretending to. With a squeak, she pinned down her father, yowling. "Will you surrender, or be forced to be injured even more by our claws?" The 'leader' challenged, a grin on her face, eyes shining with determination, and most importantly, adorableness. I'll make sure this Shadowclan Warrior to run and flee with his tail behind his legs, and yowling all the way back to his camp! She thought, batting her paws at his face, squeaking with fierceness, or, at least trying to, a smirk on her tiny face. Take that! I think I'll win this! She thought excitingly. Riverclan always prevails!

Curiosity flickered through the she-cat's eyes; what was the molly up to? She could hear the flirtatious, warm edge behind her voice, and saw the slight smirk pulled across her lips. Blackgaze was gorgeous, and a bit of a mystery, the blind deputy who was kind and relaxed, yet still reserved and mysterious. Cloversplash shook out her fur for a moment, a bit of snow puffing off and billowing onto Blackgaze's fur. The white melted quietly from the warmth of her body, but for the moments it stayed, it looked like sparkling stars on a black clear night, not a cloud of dust of dirt marring the molly's inky fur.

Blackgaze smiled warmer, her ears flicking off snow that had accumulated on the tips after feeling the snow from Cloversplash's pelt that had transferred to her's. The molly gave a soft chuckle at Cloversplash's words, clearly believing the sincerity in the other's voice was just a joke. The dark warrior never really thought she was anything, which is why she's still surprised about Russetstar choosing her as his deputy. The low self-esteem of the black deputy was mostly a cause from her deceased brother, who always told her that she'd do no good as a warrior and would barley do any good as a medicine cat either. Though, now that she's deputy, she's proved him wrong from StarClan... or the Dark Forest. Where ever he was now. "Well, I bet you're the prettiest cat in all of the clans and that your beauty rivals even the cats that have passed on into StarClan." she slightly purred out, her voice warm with a fun edge to it. There was a bit of truth in that statement, as Blackgaze felt like Cloversplash was probably a beautiful molly. Though, she would never be able to judge for herself. So, she'd just have to judge by personality and so far, Cloversplash's personality seemed to be one of the most wonderful thing's Blackgaze has come in contact with.

Cloversplash felt abashed, feeling silly for having admitted something so intimate.. And so true. Every word she meant wholly, and hoped Blackgaze would hear her sincere tone.

The molly didn't speak for a long moment as her breathing picked up gradually. "D-Don't... Don't j-joke around like that... h-heh..." she stammered out in a suddenly shaking and anxious voice. Her open aura had suddenly changed to one that felt closed and broken off from everything else. The dark molly wasn't sure if Cloversplash was trying to get into her head or if she really meant it. Though, she took it as if the other warrior didn't mean those words she said. 'She couldn't think that... could she?' she thought, running through thoughts of low self-esteem and memories of other's almost exact words. All she knew from the past was that words like this were never true, at least not for her. Sure, she was the deputy of RiverClan, but that didn't mean she was beautiful or anything like that. She knew this as a fact, having it told to her multiple times in her past. She didn't look back at Cloversplash or open her eyes after this, her ears still pushed down to give her face a sad and cowering effect.

So she silenced herself, ears flattening with guilt. Why had Blackgaze reacted so poorly? Was it because the assumed bully from her past had sweet-talked her before abusing the black she-cat? If so, Cloversplash had just possibly lost all of the deputy's trust. She took in a shuddering breath, feeling the guilt at what she might have just done constricting her chest, making it hard to breath or think. She may have just given Blackgaze a terrible case of anxiety, a torrent of bad memories that she wouldn't be able to hold back. "Blackgaze.. I won't hurt you. I don't want to injure you or say anything that could hurt you. You just have to trust me. I won't cause you any pain.. I just want to be... Be a friend. I want to help you heal and recover.. And I just want you to be happy," she mewed softly, leaning down towards the molly. She gently licked the top of Blackgaze's head, just once, to try and smooth the cat before she lost it. "Please, please trust me. I know it probably hasn't helped you in the past.. But I hope you can trust me. Please, just give me one chance. If I do anything to you, you can leave me and never trust me again.. Just, please."

She very gently nuzzled the neck of the molly, very gently, hesitatntly pressing her nose against the soft, short coat of the stocky warrior, the black fur soft against her sensitive nose. Ears twitching, she pulled away to listen to the stuttering words of the frazzled deputy, who had seemed to compose herself somewhat. "Hey, just relax. I.. Well, you'll be okay. Just breathe," she mewed quietly, words soft and assuring that even if she wasn't now, Blackgaze could recover, pass beyond her traumatic past and recover. Cloversplash end moved to gently licking the deputies head with a repetitive motion, licking the fur down flat and pulling out any tangles that had accumulated from daily life. She moved slowly and surely, trying to help Blackgaze feel grounded and secure. "No one.. No one will hurt you. I won't let them," she murmured softly, almost just to herself. She wouldn't let someone ever verbally abuse Blackgaze- the deputy could fight off any threats that were physical, but she wasn't sure that the she-cat could fend off any more emotional attacks. But with a lifetime and a half behind her, Cloversplash knew how to deal. With all the wisdom from Cloverpetal, her first life, she knew how crippling emotional injuries were. Her first mate, Birchstripe, had been abused as a kit and never been the same. And she wouldn't watch that happen to a friend, not again. After Fogwhisper and Lilybloom, she was willing to jump to the defense of anyone who needed help, regardless of clan or allegiance. "You.. You'll be okay.."

She sat down a few tail lengths away from the den and started grooming her fur. She figured that if she was thinking of something to do, she might as well be looking decent instead of like she had just rolled around in mud with her fur sticking up everywhere.

Lioncry silently followed Lilaclily out of the den and sighed. She shook her head. These days, she had been tired these days. She had no idea why. She walked to the opposite side of the clearing, and started to groom her fur. It wasn't that nessy, she just liked to clean it. She probably got it from her mother. Her mother was always making sure that they were clean. It got annoying at times, but it still made her confident. When she finished, she decided to make conversation. Lioncry walked over to Lilaclily, and cleared her throat. "Hello! How are you?" She said cheerfully.

@TehDerpyShoelace ) Lilaclily looked up at Lioncry. "Hi. I'm good, thanks. How're you?" The cream shecat replied in turn. She hadn't expected anyone to make conversation with her but it was always nice to have a chat with someone. In a way it made her feel like she was there and not just floating around aimlessly like a cloud. Oddly enough, somehow her mind slipped to the thought of flowers and how much she liked to look at them. Weird thought at a weird time but it was true. She'd always thought flowers were so pretty and had sometimes tried to tell the large groups of flowers apart but never could, thinking it was more of a medicine cat thing anyway. She snapped out of her sudden flower thoughts and focused back on Lioncry and the conversation they were having.
