Willowrose watched with a smile. "Very good. You want to go slowly, so that you don't make too much noise with your paws. Now try to pounce on the leaf and then pretend to bite its neck." , she meowed.

PebbleKit would look at WillowRose and start to wiggle a bit. She’d pounce on the leaf playfully and pick it up. (muffled by leaf) “is this ok?”

Willowrose looked at her when she wiggled a bit. "Next time you don't want to wiggle or they might run away while you try to kill it.", she meowed. Other then that she had done everything right.

PebbleKit smiled at WillowRose and dropped her leaf a second. “I hope when I’m an apprentice, I’ll have a mentor like you!” She’d pounce on her leaf again, this time carrying it back to the nursery happily.

Willowrose smiled, but didn't think that was ever going to happen for her to be the kits mentor. She had recenyly joined the clan, but who knew maybe she could try to be more active around the camp. "Keep practicing with those hunting skills. If you ever want to practice I'll be in the clearing.", she meowed.

Palepaw shook his head. "I'm not cold!" he assured, a wide grin on his lips, "Though I wouldn't mind some cuddles..." The marbled tom's eyes brightened as Sugarapple took notice of his catch, tail twitching happily. "I caught it just for you! Do you like it?" Palepaw's head tilted to the side questioningly, hope filling his copper gaze.

She nodded. "If you say so," The pale tortie smiled happily, bringing her body close to the small apprentice so that she can embrace him with her fluffy frame and tail. A part of her missed caressing and taking care of the tiny kit. A soft snort of amusement as she studied the marble tom's large physique. It's hard to imagine he was once so small! "For me?! How lovely," giving him endless of licks on his head she eventually bent over to quickly eat the minnow. Salt instantly flooded her mouth making her salivate as she crunches down some more before swallowing it. Her yellow eyes widen at the strange taste. Fish never tasted so salty and sweet! "Absolutely delicious, Palepaw! Did you catch it from the river?"

The kinkalow blinked, then shook his head. "Didn't say that. Didn't mean that. I just really don't have the time to go romping around the woods looking for plants that look like every other weed in this territory." He stepped back, muzzle twitching. A hot flash of anger rose in his chest, but he stamped it down quickly. "That doesn't sound worse," he said flatly. "I meant a cat who had gotten struck in the eye, or who had twisted an ankle or possibly broken a leg. Or, possibly, been almost drowned, or those who have been wounded so gravely they might not make it through the night." Stars, this cat ticked him off. Goosepaw just wanted to be done with this visit. "What's marigold look like, so I can find some on my own?"

there were words... that he did not care about. a stream of endless edge, unworthy of his time. shiverpetal wasn't sure how it happened, but he was grateful for a break as he saw the shifting image of tallmarsh in front of him. "nyaaar, i hate apprentices," tallmarsh hissed with a scowl that always seemed to be on her face. "they're stinky! so is the dirt-cat!" although he was about to open his mouth to defend them, he shrugged after a second. they were kind of stinky. "so stinky they brought the badgers to our camp, shiverpetal! save us!" well, he couldn't deny a clan in need.. and with that, he unsheathed his claws just in time for the badger to come smashing into thunderclan camp.

when he snapped out of it, he blinked at the apprentice in front of him for a fleeting second, then turned around to slide through the camp exit with nonchalance.

And now Shiverpetal was sort of just... spacing out. Ohmystarswhatiswrongwiththiscatwhyisheamedicinecat someonehelpmeheissowierd. Goosepaw stared at him, mostly bewildered but also partly intrigued. What was he staring at? Goosepaw looked over his shoulder, but no one was there, so it couldn't be something behind him... he was just about to open his mouth to ask what was up, but Shiverpetal stood abruptly and pushed past him, in the direction of the camp exit. Goosepaw stared after the medicine cat for a moment, then shook his head and muttered, "Guess I'll find that marigold myself. And probably die in the process because someone's too incompetent to do their job." He growled low in his throat, huffed in frustration, then began to make for the apprentices' den.

Foxkit streaked into the clearing and bumped headfirst into Sootflare. She paused and looked up at the bloodied warrior and shrank back in disgust. "Did you murder a dog or something? You look kinda scary." She said as she regained her "composure."

Sandwhisker padded into the RiverClan clearing. She was quite bored around camp, and she wondered if any kits would be ready to be apprenticed soon. Sandwhisker glanced around the clearing to see if anycat needed help, but everything seemed to be going smoothly without her. I'll just wait for a patrol, she thought, unbothered.
