As unexpected as the action proved, the first thing that Talonstone did when the mock battle began was jump. He leapt at an angle, watching as Badgerkit attempted to headbutt the area where his ribs should've been. Smart tomkit, the warrior found himself thinking as he landed behind both younger felines. Moving on the offensive, the large shadowcat swiped at Crowkit, then fell back and prepared for any sort of retaliation.

Twigkit jumped back, stumbling. After she regained her balance, the kit leaped forward, her claws out, and swung at Frogpaw. She got up prepared for Frogpaw's counter-attack. The runt couldn't tell if she hit Frogpaw, but it wasn't worth to ask.

frogpaw nodded that was ok, maybe try a diffrent paw placement to stop you from falling he said, the kit had caught a bit of fur witch was good he swung again

This time when Twigkit jumped back she had her front paws land first instead of her back paws. It made for a harder landing, but she stumbled less. Then she leaped forward swinging her paw. "How was that?" She mewed, her warm brown eyes looking up at Frogpaw.

Usually, Twigkit was uncomfortable around other cats, but she felt comfortable around Frogpaw. Probably because the apprentice had taken her under her wing.

yes but im still learning hunting, fighting is my specialty he said, he had only had a few hunting lessons, but many fighting ones
