FINALLY was wildpaw able to get someone to do some training with her! her good for nothing mentor left her to fend for herself and she couldn't be more pissed. that rodent didn't train her at all, but the past was in the past. and now she finally had woollyfeather to do some training with her. as she walked around the training cliffs, she admired their aesthetic, it was real pretty! but she could admire any day, instead she turned her head the warrior, giving her a look as to speak up about what they'd be doing today.

The apprentice moved after Wollyfeather, excited to get more battle training than just the simple moves. He wanted to be the best fighter in the clan. Well best fighter around his age in the clan. He'd never be as good as everyone else older than him. Or at least he didn't have that much confidence in himself. Ratpaw looked with his good eye at the Training Cliffs. He had never trained here before, so this was his first time ever. It was thrilling. He'd just be a little cautious with the cliff part.
"Yeah I got some simple battle training from a warrior. I think I'm ready for the most advanced stuff now.", he meowed. Was he being over confident? No he was just excited and really wanted to prove himself. Not just to his clanmates, but to Dawnstar. He would show her he was more than capable. As of right didn't she have to have some faith in him if she gave him the enforcer commander as a mentor? Ratpaw liked to think so.
On a really good stride on here and Barleypaw is really close to getting her post counts finished for her training. If there is anyone who needs a cat to help with anything feel free to VM or pm. I want her to be more active along her clanmates.
Shadowfur had backed Cinderspirit into a tight spot, forcing a move out of her. She sprung forward shoulder-first, clearly trying to barrel into him. The Enforcer sprang out of the way; by doing so, he protected himself but gave Cinderspirit an opening to free herself from being cornered.
Darting forward, Shadowfur attempted to rake a sheathed paw down her side.

Patchwish tried to twist away, but Shadowfur was too fast. A paw caught her in the ribs, sending her stumbling to one side. Scrambling to get her balance, she twisted to face Shadowfur again and feinted left, whipping out a sheathed right paw at the last second to catch Shadowfur's cheek and leaving her flailing both front paws in the air for a few moments.
( @Cherry~ Cinderspirit is my WindClan character, this is Patchwish and she's a bit bigger than average, based on a Maine Coon so yeah, quite big.)
(Whoops, my bad, dunno how I got those mixed up lol)
Shadowfur managed to force Patchwish to stumble, but she quickly recovered her balance. She feinted left and swiped right; the combination of moves caused a right paw to brush along Shadowfur's face. The black tom jumped back, out of range of her paws.
He rushed forward, low to the ground, in an attempt to barrel her off her paws. Hopefully she had yet to catch her balance from those front paw movements.

She watched as Shadowfur rushed towards her, powerless to do anything with her two front paws flailing in the air. The big tom bowled her over and she was left winded, as she fell to the ground. ( @Cherry~ no problem, easy mistake to make)

Woollyfeather watched as Wildpaw admired the training Cliffs, waiting to let her finish her look around before speaking up. Her ear twitched as she waited.
Once she had the apprentice's attention again, she opened her mouth to speak, but stopped herself short as Wildpaw asked her own question.
She really needed to drill it into her mind to actually tell the apprentices she takes to train what they're doing. "We'll be doing battle training today. I must ask before we begin, has anyone given you fighting lessons before?"

Shadowfur successfully slammed Patchwish on the ground. He stood directly over the molly, his huge form towering over her. Shadowfur jerked forward, aiming his teeth for her throat. He definitely wouldn’t bite her; if he succeeded, he’d simply graze her throat with his teeth without breaking any skin.

Patchwish watched as Shadowfur's jaws moved towards her neck. Thinking fast, she looked around for something, anything she could use to wriggle free. In a last gasp attempt at escape, she battered his soft underbelly with sheathed paws, hoping that would be enough to distract the tom and make her escape .
( @Cherry~ )
"took long enough, my old mentor was totes not a trend at all and left me in the dust like a crusty flake. anywho, that sounds so amazing battle training!!! i promise woollybestie my claws are entirely clean and have not even touched anothers fur! i mean.. have you seen the cats in shadowclan? no way i would subject myself to touching whatever they are. literal rodents, you feel?" wildpaw kept a bubbly almost squeak to her voice as she spoke. she hadn't quite gotten a vibe from woollyfeather just yet, but from what she did get she seemed okay. this time around instead of her hydromoss she had brought her favorite rock, and she laid it beside her in anticipation for the upcoming training.
