Whiteran blinked slightly and couldn't help but giggle "dear it isn't a very bright idea with flirtingbwith every shecat you see. Besides if that's what you want to do practice a bit" she said softly. Having caught his intentions with the ending of it. Licking her chestfur she rolled her eyes and made herself comfortable. Glancing at the apprentice she shook her head slowly "Though my names Whiterain. How about yourself?" she said slowly

Giving a simple shrug she dipped her head "nice to meet you" she said softly before straightening herself out. "Why is it that you're. Alone out here without your mentor?" she asked with a tilt of her head her brow rose in questioning of the young cat.

Bluepaw gave a small grunt before answering. "My mentor told me to go hunt and see what I could find in a certain amount of time. " he told the she , explaining his assignment. "Its part of my soon to come end of training . now, my turn for a question. Why are you out here all alone ?"

Finchcall lead Enderpaw towards the Training Cave. This was his first apprentice and he was honestly worried about it. The last thing the tom wanted to do with Enderpaw was to mess up training and be an embarrassment for all mentors. He wished that his brother was still alive, than he might have an apprentice as well and they could training their apprentices together.

Honestly, the warrior had been through enough heartbreak already and was a bit glad to have an apprentice. He hoped it would help get his mind off Cardinalpaw and even Crescentmoon and Northpath. Though he didn't really know Enderpaw, he wished that they would get to know each other during his training.

"Okay, so we'll start off with some fighting," he mewed as they reached the cave and turned towards the younger black tom. Though apprentices were usually first brought out to explore the territory and then hunting, Finchcall was too worried to get it right. The grey warrior then waved his tail, trying to seem calm and certain in himself. "I'll start you off with a basic move," he began and started to glanced around as he scanned the cave for somewhere that would be appropriate to the technique.

He padded a few tail lengths away before returning his pale gaze towards Enderpaw. "Okay, so here's a very simple one. It's called the Front Paw Blow," he tried to stand a little taller. "Now what you so is wait until your opponent is close enough. When they are than you bring up your front paw and and hit them in the head," he demonstrated but swiping the air with a strong paw.

Fogfire tilted her head, wondering what happened that she had missed. Why does he seem so... edgy all of a sudden? "I'll go to the pond, then!" The molly exclaimed, pushing it aside. She was, of course, suggesting this because she would find fishing much easier than hunting land prey. Though she had never been a warrior in her birth clan, she still partly trained as a Riverclan apprentice. Moving from fishing to hunting forest prey when she switched clans was difficult for her, and she still found more comfort in fishing. She always tried working on her land hunting, but right now they were going to have a competition- and Fogfire was determined to bring the most prey back.

Her tail swished behind her as birdsong echoed out across the scorched land. The effects of the fire were still there, and it wouldn't be until newleaf when the forest would start recovering. Another reason to fish- water can't be burnt! All we're gonna find is skinny, half dead squirrels anyways. Her eyes traced the burnt branch of a tree above her. They won't catch me chasing squirrels across those things! That's an injury waiting to happen. The snow had, in a way, made the fire look more appealing. The white powder managed to make everything look prettier- it helped Fogfire imagine that the raging flames were just a dream, and her beloved forest would be as it was when newleaf returned. She leaned down to stick her nose in a mound of snow, and when she raised her head her muzzle was coated in white. Giving a soft purr of delight, she raised her paw to swipe it off. "Fish counts for the competition, right?" She asked the two. "Or do I need to go chasing birds all day?"

Nodding slowly as they spoke she tapped her tail gently "I see....That makes sense" she stated fore nodding. "And to answer your question is because I'm aloud too. I am a warrior after all. And besides iwas trying to hunt as well" She stated with a matter of fact. Giving her head a stern nod she gave her paw a quick lick
