Swansong looks over and tilted her head slightly, flicking her ear. "Oh, hello Nightleap. Need something?"

"I wanted to share this fish my sisters caught for the queens with you." she smiled. She set the fish down, and nosed it towards Swansong. "My kits will be here any day now."

PumpkinSprout lifted her head off her nest "Hm?- Wrenkit!" she jumped up from her nest and ran over to her daughter. The orange tabby started to cover the tabby kit in fierce licks "Where have you been, Are you okay? Are you hurt? Thank starclan that a fox or coyote didnt get you.." she meowed between licks She's home! My daughter is home! Wait- I should be scolding her- She blinked and stopped licking the kit. "Where have you been! I was worried sick!" she scolded Wrenkit, half hissing in sadness and anger but her eyes shone with happiness.

Her head fur had turned into a cone from the many fierce licks her mother gave her and her smile turned into a guilty frown from her mother's scolding. "I am..sorry."

Swansong nods and smiles warmly, shifting over to let Nightleap lay with her, purring. "I'm happy for you," she says warmly. "My own litter were born not too long ago. Four toms and one she-kit... Not to mention taking care of the kits Bearspot brought in. They're total sweethearts though." She was making idle conversation as she ate some of the fish, her feathery tail flicking slightly.

Swansong hums and ponders for a moment. "I'm not completely sure where Hollowkit and Adderkit went, but last I saw Rainkit, she was talking to one of the other kits. Icekit. My own kits are out there playing clans... If I'm honest, I'm a bit worried about Cloverkit..." She realized she switched the conversation from the stray kits to her own and she quickly shakes her head. "But maybe the other two are with Bearspot or one of the other queens. I'm not entirely sure."

PumpkinSprout sighed. "It's fine.. I just don't want you to run off like that again. You're lucky Kestrelstar didn't decide to hold back your apprentice-ship" the orange tabby nuzzled Wrenkit and gave her a small nudge towards the nest "for now I don't want you out of my sight."

Wolfsong nosed her way into the nursery with a second fish, following after Nightleap. She set it down and purred. "Hello, everyone. I brought a second fish in case the first one isn't enough to feed everyone," she mewed, looking around at the queens. Moonfrost poked her dark tabby head in after her sister's, a happy glimmer in her eyes.
