The black and while kit had been sleeping, or snoozing at least, her mama's warm tongue lulling her away to dreamland, but when Nightmama started to speak, Bugkit's green eyes slowly blinked awake. She was sleepy still, but could vaguely hear the many voices, and pick up what they were talking about, until her young brain puzzled together what was going on. She gazed curiously at the other kit, the new kit. Salmon? What was that? She knew what a bug was, it was small and funny looking, but she had no idea what a Salmon was.

"Slamonbrother..." Tilting her head she smiled slightly, not even realizing she was thinking out loud at first. She could catch the glimpse of a grey tail tip disappearing from the den and her small ears pricked quick curiosity. "Nightmama" She mewed and placed a paw on her mama's side to get her attention, and mewed "Who was that, who was that?" while pointing towards where the grey tail tip had been. "Because... he sounded a little mad... did you notice he was mad?"

She smiled and looked at her kitten. "That was Kestrelstar. He's probably a little irked." she groomed her kit. "Don't worry about it, dear." she smiled. She groomed echokit. "I'll take you to meet him soon." She smiled.

~ Hollowkit ~
Hollowkit sat in the nursery, alone. She didn't know where her siblings, Rainkit and Adderkit went and Bearspot hadn't visited in a while. So she simply sat and stared at the wall. She wasn't bored and she certainly didn't want to play. She was merely... Existing. With a very grumpy expression on her face. Tucking her paws into her fluffy chest, she stared down the other kits. Perhaps a warrior would come in and she could have an intelligent discussion for once. It was always so... lively in here, something she didn't always enjoy. Well, rarely enjoyed unless it was her siblings.

Echokit purrs softly, leaning into his mother's flank and he looks at his sister, yawning and trying to grab onto her tail.

She would smile happily, grooming her kit. "I love you, kitlings." She curled up with them. "I'll be leaving the nursery soon." she said. "You kitlings can almost eat from the prey pile." she smiled. "A half a moon." She smiled.

Salmonkit woke up and looked at the kits he understood as his littermates.

"I'll stay in the nursery as long as you need." she said, looking over to salmonkit. "Oh, dear your awake." she said. "Hello, dear." she smiled.

PumpkinSprout sighed. "It's fine.. I just don't want you to run off like that again. You're lucky Kestrelstar didn't decide to hold back your apprentice-ship" the orange tabby nuzzled Wrenkit and gave her a small nudge towards the nest "for now I don't want you out of my sight."

She flopped onto the springy nest and curled up in her mother's tail. Wrenkit was very glad Kestrelstar didn't hold back her apprenticeship it would have been so embarrassing to watch her siblings be apprentices and she was still stuck in the nursery. "When do you think I'll be an apprentice." she meowed as she looked up at her mother with stars in her eyes.

The orange tabby let out a small laugh "You'll be an apprentice soon enough" PumpkinSprout smiled at the eager kit, then added "Maybe you could teach me what you learn"

(Hm- good point when do you guys want to be apprentices?)
