Gracklepaw was absorbed in watching a ladybug when he first heard the fellow apprentice’s voice. The tiny creature was so fascinating. He picked it up in his paw, watching the spotted bug just crawl. He’d heard once from an old loner that a ladybug was a sign of luck. Was that true? A little luck wouldn’t hurt, especially with how he was having trouble navigating around the territory. Hopefully Hickorysplinter would take him on a tour soon.

He soon watching as the little ladybug began to fly away, little wings appearing from seemingly nowhere. He’d never known that ladybugs could fly! How cool!! Oh to be a ladybug. Gracklepaw had often wondered what it would be like to have wings himself and be able to fly around. He’d be able to catch so much prey! Plus the ShadowClan cats would be so impressed with him. He’d make Dawnstar proud too.

Suddenly Gracklepaw was knocked out of his thoughts by the voice of another apprentice. She approached him stuttering and acting quite shy and awkward. His ears perked as she introduced herself and greeted him, and he offered her a friendly grin. “Willowpaw? Like the tree? Nice to meet ya! I’m Gracklepaw. I’m new here.” He meowed in reply.

"Uhm, y-yeah. T-that big, s-spooky and creepy tree," she stammered, "B-but I'm n-none of those! I-I think, yea, uhm, I'm not c-creepy. W-wait no that's oak trees... In leaf-bare...... But either w-way!"
She cringed, and bit her tongue to stop herself from saying all the other mouse-brained things her mind had come up with. She then took a moment to remember the name of the cat.
"Oh, uh, G-Grackle'Paw? Is-Is that a tree?" She tilted her head slightly, what did he mean by that? "Uhm, n-never mind, the-the tree things. Y-You're, uhm, new? W-when were, uhm, when were you apprenticed?" Well, she guessed he couldn't be a kit, so a refuge from a another clan or something? Even if she didn't know the scents of the other clans, she should've been able to smell if this cat was once from a different affiliation if Grackle'Paw was new to the clan.
Maybe its a ThunderClan cat that hated Bumble'Star a whole lot?, she doubted that, since he probably wouldn't choose the most hostile clan against ThunderClan to seek shelter in. A WindClan cat seemed like the most likely, but if that was the case, then she wasn't a big fan of their ally leader being corrupt or something (That kinda sounded like someone Dawn'Star would team up with, big and scary, but not as scary as her (Dawn'Star was very scary). Unless she was completely wrong, and Twillight'Star was one of the best leaders in the forest).

Shadefrost sauntered toward the camp entrance, his stride purposeful and his sapphire gaze alight with satisfaction as he delicately balanced a vole and a mouse by their tails. Today had been a departure from the norm for him, an unexpected twist in the routine of his day to day life. Which was surprisingly nice. Here he was, not engaged in his usual pursuits of aggression and dominance, but instead bearing tidings of accomplishment and even a hint of optimism. He had high hopes for how the rest of the day would turnout, expecting to actually sleep with a smile on his face

However, it seemed fate had other plans in mind. As he approached the threshold of the camp, a shadow crossed his features, and his demeanor shifted. His eyes narrowed as they landed on a particular feline figure, and annoyance sparked within him. Of all the enforcers, why did it have to be Larkfires pet? The disdain the tom held for his fellow warrior surpassed that which he harbored for those within the other clans. At least those pieces of trash served some purpose beyond an irksome existence.

The temptation to abandon his haul and retreat to the river to drown himself for a few hours were strong, but the chill of the air dissuaded him from such drastic measures. With a resigned sigh, he approached the younger warrior, setting down his catch with deliberate care. "I've surveyed a significant portion of our territory today," he stated evenly, his tone clipped. "No signs of trouble, but I intend to delve deeper tomorrow. Perhaps then, I'll have more substantial news to share." There, the hard part was over. Now he could go. With a brusque nod, he gathered his prey once more, departing swiftly in search of anywhere that was far from the enforcers company.

NightWolf had been out hunting, he had caught a skinny rabbit, it was a lucky catch since the rabbit didnt kniw NightWolf had been resting upon a branch above where it was looking for for nuts.

As he came to the entrance he saw Darkfall watching everyone with a studious eye, he seemed to be examining everyone as they entered or left, he wondered what had the older warrior so high on alert, should he be on alert? Perhaps he should.. he stopped before entering to look around him for anything suspicious, nothing... thats good, the camp being in peace and safe was always the priority. However he didn't realize how suspicious he looked as he looked around to look for anything suspicious in the middle of the entrance.
