Kion shook his head a little. "Look, I just wanted to tell you so you'd be prepared." He took a breath and continued, "Koja's here, Mom, he's coming here. And Dad doesnt know.. Nobody knows that he's.." He trailed off, looking toward the entrance to Pride Rock before looking back at Nala. "And I dont know what to do."

"Yeah... Kion's the same way," Koja chuckled, glancing at Simba before looking away. "I can already tell, the kid looks up to you, doesnt he? You're definitely pretty important to him." His eyes flashed for a moment, his expression unreadable, before he looked away again.

As soon as the name left Kion's lips, Nala froze completely. "Koja...." the word felt odd on her tongue, and yet welcoming. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "We're going to have to tell your father eventually, and your siblings. For now, we keep quiet. Let everyone get used to him being here."

"Okay." Kion took a deep breath. "Okay.." He frowned for a moment, shaking his head. "Okay." It seemed to be the only thing he could say at the moment, his mind racing. "Im gonna... Head back to them. Tell Koja." He sighed. "Love you, Mom," With that he turned and headed out.

"Still, though," Koja shrugged. "From what i've seen, you havent given him a reason not to look up to you. The fact that you're even around is enough." A faint trace of bitterness entered his voice.
"Hi." Kion paused beside his father and older half-brother.
Koja stopped walking to glance down at him, eyes curious. "Hey Gozi."
"Dont call me Gozi." Kion told him, annoyed, then looked at Simba. "Im going out." He said simply, then looked toward Koja when the older lion began to speak. "Alone."
