As him and his siblings took off across the soft nursery ground, Fallowkit couldn't help but feel alive. Sure, Ravenkit had taken an early lead, but with his heart drumming in his chest the young tom felt unstoppable. The draft that pinned his whiskers back and buffeted his fur.. It was hard to not feel on top of the world. Each time his paw slapped the ground, it made his eyes narrow in anticipation as the destination came closer and closer into view.

And then he heard Ravenkit take a tumble beside him. Yes!

Unaware that Sablekit had been the mastermind behind the sabotage, Fallowkit let out a triumphant cry, spinning on his heels as he rounded back towards the finish line. "How does my dirt taste?" the tom yowled over his shoulder directed at Ravenkit, knowing that his sister was still probably staring dumbfounded after himself and Sablekit. Excitement pulsed through his paws as he began the same dance that he'd done earlier around Ravenkit.

"What leg do you think Dawnstar is going to snap off first?" Fallowkit smirked, bumping his shoulder against Sablekit and not even recognizing the sideways glance he'd been tossed earlier. Now, the tom's attention was focused solely on getting Ravenkit out without Bristleflame noticing.

Not like it would be hard - their mother was currently taking a bit of a nap.

His eyes widened as Sablekit revealed a hidden hold behind some moss, then quickly narrowed. He hadn't felt the need to share this?? They could've all been sneaking out by now! Not that he had tried, what with the looming punishment of Bristlebutt. "How lovely of you to share your secrets with us, Sablekit," Fallowkit stated sarcastically, rolling his eyes as he turned to look at Ravenkit. "Alright, so since you're the loser," he purred, emphasizing the last word, "you gotta go all the way into Dawnstar's den. And I mean, all the way. So that she can clearly see you. And Sablekit and I will know if you don't!"

Duskkit

The tom was placed against something else, about as big as him. It was moving. Breathing, and so was he. His eyes were shut as he fed on his mother's milk, shuffling around to get into a comfortable position as best as he could. The instant Duskkit found the sweet spot, he immediately relaxed, lying on his belly with his black paws sprawled out. Moments after, the kit finished suckling, laying his little head on the nest floor. The little tom finished unusually early, now feeling full. White spots scattered his jet black pelt, while gray spots splattered his rump The newborn cat had a gray underbelly, almost the colour of the ashes of a remaining burnt tree.

Venomkit decided he felt hot. Very hot. He needed some cool air but it was so stuffy. He began to sweat and all he knew to do was to move away from the warm bodies. He weighed and crawled and once he got to the very edge and stopped, feeling a bit better.

Three beautiful little kits, hers. Doeflame had an idea who the father was, there was really only one possibility, and that was Blackhaze. Some of the similarities in appearance, how long she had spent asleep with him, it was the only option. And surprisingly, she didn't have a problem with that. If the father of her kits was an outsider, the kits could be hers. It was a selfish thought, but she didn't like toms as much as others might. They were to fickle for her liking, and always seemed to be looking at the next she-cat rather than their mate. Nudging Venomkit lightly back towards her, she didn't want him getting to far, she gave all three kits a nuzzle on the top of their heads before laying her own down. She was tired and ready to sleep. @Exis @Lynxpaw @Cobra

Shiverkit walked hesitantly over to Doeflame. "Um... Is it okay if I see your kits?" he asked quietly, unsure if he was allowed to even be near them.

The tom looked over his shoulder from where he was crouched, watching as his family stirred. A smile lit up his face as he put the little pebble down and sauntered towards his siblings. Deciding he was cold, he hopped back into the nest after giving Skykit a grin. Burying himself under his mothers fur he squirmed deeper, almost covered entirely by his mother.

Skunkkit woke up in his nest, tired from just waking up. He sat up and looked around, in a nest a little further away from his, a she-cat was licking some kits. He slowly padded over to her. ´´Hi, can I see your kits please?´´

Berryshine laughed. "I have no kits yet, but I will soon." She mewed.
