Toka snickered, skidding to a stop. "I let you win!"

Kion stood there for a moment, then shook his head and turned away from the river. "Power.." He whispered under his breath.

Rafiki slowly stood back up, shaking his head. "No." He repeated, swiping his hand over the painting. "Kion will never..." But he didnt finish, because he knew it was not true.
"Something wrong, Rafiki?" Lilliana padded in, a bundle of herbs in her jaws. The little cub, pretty small, set them down and looked up, her intellegent blue eyes landing on the paintings. "Ah, I see."
Rafiki looked at his apprentice, then at the paintings. "Its not true, it cannot be. Kion...Become...Evil?"
Lilliana flicked an ear and shook her head. "Rafiki, you are a wise old baboon. You have to accept Kion will choose his own path--" She squeaked, but was cut off.
"But if he becomes evi--"
"--Whatever it may be." Lilliana interrupted. "Kion doesnt know who he really is yet, Rafiki. Let him find himself, let him do some discovering, let him explore. He needs to learn more about to he is, what he is, who he will become, before he can truly decide what he wants to be. What really depends on his future is his faith, and ours. We need to trust that he can decide for himself who he is." She said pointedly. "It will take some self-exploring for him to see who he really is. Ther will be bumps, he'll make mistakes, but in the end it will all be worth it, he'll know who he wants to become, who he will become. You have to let him understand himself before you start to think of him as evil, or good. Because at the moment, not even he knows what path he's going down; Thats what he needs to figure out, and its what he needs to figure out for himself."
Rafiki blinked, before turning back to the painting in silence.

Nari squeaked and spun around, hackles raised and ready for a fight.

Atazi poked her head into the cave with Rafiki and Lilliana. "H-hey!" She called, bringing in a cart full of new paints. "I-I b-brought so-some more p-paint!"

(Can she be Rafiki's other apprentice in this one?)

"Not on your life!" Toka huffed, padding over to a log and grinning.
Bunga simply watched in amusement from a tree, eating honey.

Kion shook his head. "Just to make them proud." He told himself, taking a deep breath. "Thats...Thats what matters..."

"Yes, very nice Atazi, thank you." Rafiki said, still pondeirng Lilliana's words.
"Think about it Fiki. Kion needs to understand as much as we do." Lilliana turned. "Only when he figures it out himself is when we will decide to call him evil or good. For now, let him decide, let him understand, let him discover who he is and who he wants to become." With that she padded out.

Simba grinned.

Atazi padded up, her eyes studying the painting. "O-oh." She squeaked, glancing at Rafiki and then the retreating Lilliana. "I-I th-think I h-have a lot m-more to l-learn, I guess." She smiled, dipping a claw in the white paint and studying in. Her eyes flicked over to the wall with curiosity, and she began painting a scene quickly. It showed a lioness and Kovu nearby a small body of water, Kovu looking kind and the lioness looking tense. She pulled her paw away, and blinked.

"I-I th-think I'm get-getting the h-hang of it." She said to Rafiki with wide eyes.

Toka scooped out ten grubs and tossed them to his brother, smiling. "Enjoy." He chuckled.
Bunga grinned, leaping down and landing beside Simba. "A bet I assume?"

Rafiki smiled. "Indeed, you are."

Atazi smiled quietly, and scuffed the ground. "S-so, a-anything else I c-can do?" She asked hopefully.

(So, I think Lilliana is more going for the mysterious oracle and advisor part of Rafiki, and Atazi the medical, am I right?)
