Her ears had flicked back in her flustered state. Ravenvine thought she was independent? That was a good thing, at least she thought so, and she wondered if the rest of the clan saw her this way as well or if they only saw her as awkward and quiet. "Too embarrassed, or shy." She smiled at the tom, this time not grimacing as she did so despite the fact that she was aware of how awkward she had been in her explanation. She felt more easy around the tom, mostly because he seemed to be at ease with her as well. The molly blinked when he began to groom her fur, but it became apparent to her that he'd mistaken her own fur for his- which she couldn't blame him for, given his bad eye and the fact that the black bits of her coat did blend into his. Tuft picked up on the fact that her newfound friend was embarrassed, despite the fact that he was trying to hide it. She made a risky move in the effort to make him feel relaxed once more, not wanting it to become weird between the two- it had just become smooth, and she didn't want to loose this feeling of ease between them. Stooping her head down, she gave his fur a few licks before glancing up at him with humor swirling in her eyes, leaning back and lifting a paw to groom it, happy that it didn't taste of the spider she'd killed for Ravenvine earlier.

{Gahhh, who knew just these actions could be romantic, my heart is dying. Subtle actions slooooowly, making it's way into each other's heart. If I die before this is over, its either because of KoA in October of because this romantic tension has gotten too much)
As she also groomed him Ravenvine tipped his head slightly. He breathed deep through his nose, focused - to make sure that he caught every moment, stare, tensing - and then leaned over and began grooming the neck fur and her face, the two things he knew she couldn't reach herself. He continued the grooming while curling his tail around them both. When he stopped he looked over to where his tail ended and that it was were a black spot did not cover Tuftbreeze's body and that it just flicked back and forth. He shook his head, how he had gotten distracted by something so simple he did not know. He took the second-to-last bite of their cardinal and nudged the rest to her, giving himself fully into grooming the bit of fur on her neck.

Darkkit couldn’t remember much of her first moments in the world. All she remembered were the smells. Or, really the one smell that seemed to clog her nostrils. It was some type of metallic tang in the air and it was strong. But she - being a kit - decided not to try to find out what it was. She had opened her ears a little later to what she thought was her family and just recently she had decided to open her eyes, though she preferred to keep them closed. It was both easier and it protected her eyes from the brightness of the world. Every once in a while she opened her eyes to many furry bodies, whom she assumed were her siblings. Suddenly she felt some warm body, bigger than hers, climbing over her. This was one of the times she decided to open her eyes. She saw who she knew to be her brother, though she hadnt bothered to learn his name. She just made a small sighing sound and adjusted her position, deciding to close her eyes again as long as he didn’t climb over her again.

Re: ShadowClan Nursery
Gorserain tisked lightly, realizing he'd spoken without thinking. Judging by Pearldance's downturned expression, the subject caused a note of unhappiness for her. A missing mate was nothing new in ShadowClan, but it was always important to be heedful of a queen's feelings. Not to mention he could understand her predicament just a little bit, having lost a mate himself to other circumstances.
"Pardon me. Sometimes my wits are as passin' as the wind, and talking about kits tends to get me considering the past." Eager to see her in a lighter mood again, he continued more thoughtfully: "Have you come up with names for 'em yet? I'd be happy to listen as best I can."

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Raggedfeather rasped her tongue along her matted flank, wincing slightly at the scent that had arose from it. All the hard work hadn't done well for her patchy fur, and made her intermittent grooming much harder than it had to be. The old, tabby molly was slumped unceremoniously in the corner of the clearing, not distancing herself from the warriors' den despite the urge to sleep again creeping slowly up to her, as if to ruin her working day. Hygiene wasn't her main issue, so she wanted to get through it as quickly as possible before starting her rounds.
With one final tongue-stroke, the old she-cat opened her jaws in a long yawn, her tongue drawing across her scarred muzzle in an attempt to damper the taste. And eventually, with shaky paws, she levered herself up. Raggedfeather stretched out her limbs in discomfort, padding her way across the clearing and mulling over what she needed to do today.
A hunt doesn't seem to be too farfetched, today, she thought to herself, though could feel her body aching at the mere thought of it. Nothing was going to stop the war-torn tabby, though. The Clan always came first, didn't it? With a determined huff of air, she sped up her pace, making her way towards the camp's exit before she could cramp up again.

Spiderpaw stepped out of the apprentice's after he had woken up. He had been sleeping when there was a couple apprentice's that were talking to each other very loud, but he was quite grateful for it since there was so much he could be doing. Spiderpaw glanced at the fresh kill pile as his stomache began to growl. It had been since last night that he had eaten and he was ready to eat again today.
The tom walked over to the fresh kill pile and pulled out a small mice. He only grabbed a mouse, because he hadn't done anything for the clan today. Spiderpaw looked around the camp, his gaze wandering to Raggedfeather. That was when he decided to take his food and go see if she wouldn't mind him sitting next to her. Maybe he could start a conversation with the older cat. Spiderpaw walked over to Raggedfeather and sat down in front of her.
"Hey Raggedfeather. Mind if I sit with you?" he meowed with a friendly voice. Spiderpaw hadn't talked to a warrior forever. The last warrior he talked to said they couldn't be his mentor anymore. Spiderpaw had grown to trust them, but he was wrong to ever trust them. He hadn't asked why they couldn't mentor him and just accepted the fact that they weren't his mentor anymore.

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Raggedfeather stopped in her tracks, glancing at the strange young cat who stood... or rather sat in her way. She was somewhat bewildered at the brazen young tom's action, though brushed it off with a soft grunt, her tail gently flicking to the side as she managed to keep her temper. Maybe it was just a misunderstanding.
Looking at the mouse by his paws, her ears twitched slightly. It was rather early to eat, and she hadn't seen the apprentice leave camp before he picked up the fresh kill. In her mind, the same thought echoed, The Clan must always come first. This cat would have to pay his dues, she thought. Well... She was already on her way to the territory to hunt, so why couldn't he come along as a lesson?
"Depends," the she-cat rasped dryly, not even feigned emotion showing in her tone. Her expression was steady and empty, almost as if she were still lost in thought. "I hope you can sit while hunting." She placed her paw over the mouse for a moment, gesturing at what she believed was an unearned meal. "Eat that mouse quickly. We both have work to do." Raggedfeather hadn't melded with the Clan as much as she would have liked to, and knew almost nothing about this weedy apprentice. His mentor did seem to be slack, though.

Spiderpaw looked at the Molly, seeing that maybe she was enjoying the view. He then stood up and moved to side to try and not upset the older cat. He could see that she was a little ticked off at him. Spiderpaw knew when cats were ticked off at him, since he had seen it too often. That was one of the many reasons his mentor had told him they were never going to train him again. Spiderpaw often felt distant to his clanmates, wishing they could just see what he could do.
The young apprentice starred at the Molly as she talked to him, feeling as if he was doing something wrong. "We're going hunting?" he asked. Spiderpaw couldn't quite understand what this cat was talking about. Once she told him to finish his prey quickly he understood. He took a bite out of his mouse and chewed it as fast as he could.
Spiderpaw finished his bite within seconds. He looked up at Raggedfeather, getting up onto his feet. The young tom didn't dare to tell her lets go. He was actually a little scared of the warrior, but not too much that he wouldn't talk or sit with her. "So we are going hunting and I can guess that you don't think I deserved to eat that mouse and I agree with you. I shouldn't have picked it from the pile." Spiderpaw meowed, trying to get on Raggedfeather's good side.

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
The old warrior watched the apprentice hastily finish his meal, silently waiting for him to finish up before it was time for them to go. "Yes, we're going hunting," she mewed gently, deciding not to be too harsh on the apprentice. While he did look older than the newly apprenticed kits she'd seen, he seemed to understand what he'd done wrong. As long as he didn't make the same mistake again, she saw no need to remind him of his wrongdoings.
The vigour he showed certainly reminded her of her own youth, though she knew that the young tom was less disciplined. In some ways, that was a good thing. A lot of her youth had been wasted on her rigorous training, and she'd noticed that when her younger brother would always get into trouble. It was hard to hate a troublemaker when they meant well.
As Spiderpaw piped up once more, her eyes widened with surprise. At least she knew for sure that he understood, now. Raggedfeather let out a short, satisfied purr as a slight smile spread across her muzzle. "Yes... A small mistake, but an important one," she insisted, making sure she didn't go too soft on the young one, either. He still had to learn, after all. "Let's get this done quickly. You're not the only hungry one." With a soft grunt, the old tabby padded ahead of the smaller apprentice, gesturing with her tail for him to follow before she lumbered out of the camp.

Spiderpaw let out a light smile at the Molly, starting to get used to her. She was quite different from his past mentor at least she could tell him the difference from right or wrong. The tom gave hia chest fur a couple of quick licks as he starred off at the camp entrance. Spiderpaw's paws were itching to get out of the camp for once in his life.
The apprentice made his way over to the entrance very slowly. He looked back a couple times to make sure he was getting to ahead of her. Spidderpaw stood right inside the entrance, looking through to see the territory. He felt his stomache clench at the thought of going out of the Shadowclan camp.
"I feel that I need to tell you about my mentor. That is my former mentor by the way. They aren't my mentor anymore. As of now I have nobody to teach me anything." he meowed. Spiderpaw thought that it was a good time to tell her that he isn't an experienced hunter. He was an experienced fighter either, but that wasn't as important at the moment.

As he started talking, she gave him another shrug, letting out a small sigh before leaning down and biting into the bird. He had plucked the feathers from it after all, why wouldn't she eat it? That'd be disrespectful in her opinion. As she chewed, she looked back up towards Gorserain. The thought of names for the kittens, did in fact, lighten her back up. She gave him an eager nod before swallowing the bite she took. She had signed to her mother, and pointed at objects in the forest to communicate possible names. She wasn't sure how she was going to do that now. [I'm just going to keep it simple because it would be hard to describe what's going on lol] With the best signals she could, Pearldance began to sign out name choices she had. Ashkit, Shimmerkit, Batkit, and Blazekit
