“I’ll get you to the medicine cat, then,” Riverwood said calmly and helped Lightningstrike walk by pushing against her side and walking with her to the medicine cat den. @Radiantshine300

Cormorantglide felt a bit awkward giving this tour since it really was a bit self-explanatory, but there wasn’t much left to go so he kept at it. Walking over to the medicine den, he pointed at it with his tail.

“This is the medicine den, you can come here if you are injured or feel sick and our medicine cat, Lionwhisker, and his apprentice, Condorpaw, will help you out. Over here is where our elders sleep and this is where we stash prey.”

Cormorant walked to each thing in turn, only pausing for a moment beside it. He turned to look at the she-cat, open to answering any questions she might have but otherwise signaling that their tour was pretty much done.

This kit was speaking a mile a minute and Cormorantglide just wanted to sleep. He slitted his eye and glared at the kid as she bounced around, really not in the mood to deal with a kit. Perhaps he was being a bit harsh but he just wanted to nap! Yet... Cormorantglide didn’t want to turn into a grouchy elder already.

Sighing, Corm pulled himself to his paws, dragging his tail away from her greedy paws and tucking it behind him to avoid anymore abuse. He had to clock his head to see her fully with his one functional eye, but once he had her in his amber gaze he paused and thought about what to do. It appeared that the kit wasn’t going anywhere until she got what she wanted, but Cormorantglide was not about to teach her how to climb a tree- that was dangerous and he would rather not have her mother come after him.

“Alright, Swallowkit, fine. I can teach you a few battle moves.”
