Tinykit let out a defensive squeak, jumping up onto his tiny, soft toes. He cranned his neck up to look up into her eyes with his big blue orbs. "uh-huh!" He meowed confidently. He poked his pink tongue out at her with a goofy grin, tucking it back in as quickly as it came out.

Eagleflower shuffled his paws, a ritual he performed often. After kicking up a reasonable amount of dust, the silence was finally ended by Fogpaw's agreement. He signed in relief, looking up from the ground.
"Erm, would you like to go hunting? If not, I-I'm sure there's something else to do." He offered, glancing at the Thunderpaw doppelganger. He could almost aware that they were the same cat! He's hoped he wasn't embarrassing the small tom, stating at his like that.

Of course your one of Lionstar's brainwashed soldiers who can't realize that he has any imperfections Finchpaw mumbled, it wasn't that she wasn't loyal, but some people in the clan were always like " oh Lionstar's so perfect" and it bothered her, he was even hiding the fact that he's sick, whip seemed pretty stupid to her. It's not like he pulled me from the river or anything, but he came for me to remind me why I have Riverclan, and reminded me that there was someone in this clan who still cares about me

Hazelberry waved her tail in greeting to Koistream and Finchpaw, formerly Honeypaw from what she remembered. "It's good to see you're back!" she mewed in greeting, then frowned when she overheard what the ungrateful youngin was saying about the leader. Tsking, she shook her head. "You're lucky he accepted you back with all the attitude your friends were giving him over disappearing for Starclan knows how long...and it's weird! Those cats hardly said anything even though Lionstar was asking you all where you been and such. It was the awkwardest thing I seen, usually when cats come back they're spilling words all over the place to say where they were off to. Not them, just silence and standing there as Lionstar basically pried it out of em..."

"Who says there my friends?" It was an honest question, maybe if they wouldn't have gotten Lionstar into a bad mood Fazekit would be here becoming a apprentice. Before she got into hypothetical fantasies, she focused on the cat. Trying to pick out any small details she could focus on @Bumblebelly

The bubbly Hazelberry thought that was a simple question to answer. "What are they if not your friends? It seemed really obvious to me! You all come in as a group like ya own the place, everyone stayed together during the talk with Lionstar too. You all acted the same, barely answering anything or saying much at all. Why would you all return at the same time if youre not friends, since that's super coincidental? That's not something strangers would do, and you were just saying how that one saved you from the river. You called him 'your friend' seconds ago!"

Well We ran into Lightningeyes and the other one Just outside the territory and Birdsong just randomly showed up. I don't care about any of them except Fazekit! Finchpaw explained raising her voice a little bit, but then getting mad at herself, wait if she got in trouble with Cobaltshade, she was scary enough on a good day. But her mad was on a completely different level. I'm sorry

Hazelberry cocked her head in surprise and confusion. "Oh then why were you all acting the same? I thought you were friends, were you just part of their cat cult?" She was convinced they had to have hung out sometime from their behavior. "But how they talked to Lionstar and were so odd about it is unexplainable! I dont know why they all just....stared...at him when he asked questions." She flicked an ear and smiled, shrugging it off but thankful for the apology. "I don't know what a Faze is, if he's that one that was with you and your friends, I bet it would help if he said something without Lion having to ask repeatedly. It was probably suspicious to him."

Koistream had no patience for the conversation at hand, his attention for either was immediately lost. Drama wasn't his thing, or at least he tried to make it not his thing. He stood with a long stretch. "Well you two have fun." He shrugged his shoulders back and left with ease @Kitty Mama @Celtic Herondale

While passing through the clearing, Lionstar had caught snippets of the conversation between Koistream, Finchpaw, and Hazelberry, and he couldn't express his disappointment more in her behavior after he had kindly allowed her to rejoin. "You should be counting your lucky stars." His words were directed toward Finchpaw. "The fact you're upset about your not-real-friend joining is pathetic. You didn't know him before you both abandoned our Clan, and I sincerely doubt you did many heart-to-heart conversations when you couldn't even tell me where you'd been for a good sun-shift of my time." Lionstar was still very displeased with her lack of cooperation within the rejoining meeting. "If you're so unhappy with my decision to not accept your vanish-loving friend, you're always welcome to join that cult of rejects outside of my territory."

Lionstar wasn't sorry about this in the slightest when it was clear Finchpaw had little to no respect. It wasn't his fault these jackasses couldn't be damned to remain Clan members. He was not here to hold their paws! [ @Cecily Herondale ]

Leaving the idiot and poor sweet Hazelberry behind, Lionstar crossed the clearing but was stopped by the call of Gaystep. Ah, his favorite raging homosexual in denial!

"Can we talk for a moment?" Gaystep questioned, his pace slowing as he neared him. "About the elite training thing you wanted done."

"Of course," Lionstar turned to face him curiously. "What about it? Don't tell me no one has been attending the sessions."

Gaystep sighed. "That's part of the problem, I guess. The session Eagleflight started, the one that went on forever-- a handful of cats showed up, but they stopped doing anything as time went on.. and some of them straight up left? It was just not working out the way you wanted, so..

"I want permission to set up actual patrols for these. Four cats per patrol instructed to do advanced training moves.. If I instructed at least the patrol leader on how to do the moves, they can pass it on to the others. I figured if this worked, it'd also get more cats involved in this instead of relying on volunteers."

Looking at Gaystep curiously, Lionstar took a moment to ponder the request. It wouldn't be a duty assigned to either him or Sootflare, plus.. it gave Lionstar an idea for something else. Something that could expand this training further and encourage activity. But he wanted to talk to Fawnsqueak first.. before he implemented this new position.

"Go for it! And.. if you have issues with cats not reporting to you, or it seems they're not participating-- you're free to punish them as you see fit." Because he knew Gaystep well enough to know it wouldn't be extreme. He'd leave that to Lionstar.

Relief seemed to shine in Gaystep's eyes, and he dipped his head. "I'll start it today, then. We'll see how this goes, and hopefully it won't be as disappointing as the actual training session." He was gone with those words, likely to plan his next move with who he was going to send out-- but Lionstar was already moving on to the next ting on his mind.

He needed to talk to Fawnsweet.
