Soft ocean eyes peered out across the shadowclan clearing from the entrance of the apprentice's den. The sun shone somewhat brightly, making Silverpaw's eyes seem even brighter than usual. The she-cat had spent the majority of her morning grooming, having not even left the den as of yet. Her long silver fur was groomed back neatly, soft to the touch. Perhaps it was her ego that made her take such serious pride in her pelt, but the young she-cat saw no issue with this intense desire for cleanliness. She realised she couldn't stay in the den for the entire day, pushing herself out from underneath it's shaded entrance and out into the cool air of the clearing. Though the sun shone brightly at the moment, dark clouds peered over the horizon and made their impending presence known. Ugh, more rain means more grooming. Not today, please The she-cat internally whined as she wondered over to a slightly more sheltered section of the clearing, hoping it would be enough to protect her from the approaching rain. She would sit comfortably in the apprentices den, if it weren't so humid and uncomfortable! Oh how today was not her day, but nonetheless she put a smile on her face and tried to relax.

Echopaw raced across the clearing to Silverpaw, spraying up dust as she skidded to a clumsy halt. "You finished grooming yourself, finally" she said playfully, flicking her friends ear gently with the tip of her tail.

Pumpkinpatch relaxed in the midday sun, his large extravagant tail waving gently as a slight warm breeze brushed back his fur. He was near snoozing, his paws twitching now and again and his eyes barely opened but just barely as he clung onto the last of his energy before gradually drifting off.

Silverpaw faked insult, brushing off dust that wasn't really there after Echopaw's sudden appearance. But she couldn't possibly be really mad, smiling amiably to her friend, rubbing her head against her friend in a warm and friendly manner. "You can't rush beauty, Echopaw! It's not my fault I take pride in my pelt," She joked, turning her nose from her friend in mock annoyance. She couldn't stay serious for long though, an ungraceful snort escaping her as her bright ocean eyes turned back to Echopaw, "What are you doing today, then?" She inquired, a little bored of having nothing to do. Her mentor was busy today, so she hadn't training to look forward to and she couldn't find any warriors to take her into the territory so she was stuck moping around the clearing. A small sigh escaped her as she sat down, her bushy tail laying against the ground, it's tip flicking up and down every now and then.

Echopaw sighed and began to groom herself after covering herself in dust. She was secretly disappointed that she didn’t get any on Silverpaw, but also thankful that she didn’t have to get yelled at for covering her friends newly groomed pelt in dust. “I just came back from dawn patrol, and absolutely nothing happened, so I get to sit around camp all day and be bored” she finished sarcastically. Something did happen on patrol, but she didn’t want to tell her friend that she jumped straight over a black bird trying to catch it and let it fly away. “So, Silverpaw, what are you planning to do today?” She ran her white paw over her ear and sat down, her sleek, black pelt brushing Silverpaws long one.

¤♡¤ The Prince ¤♡¤

》He breathed in deeply, loving the sweet auroma of the marshy lands that surrounded them to fill his nostrils, a wide grin covering his maw as his multi-coloured optics, a swirl of fire and ice in each eye, scanned around the apparent busy camp. He sat on ebony pedestals, his soft downy banner curled around his paws. Elegant and Well-kept, he smiled widely as he hoped to give off a welcoming aura, allowing for a fellow clan member, young or old, to stumble onto him and wish for a chat. The male gave a happy sigh, peering up at the evening sky. Colours of dusk was something he quite enjoyed peering up to as the day waned and night began. It relieved the heat with a cool breeze, and the sight of lightbugs, stars, the sound of crickets- it was no surprise the tom often could be found out and about the trees and marshy grounds of the territory at night.
》He layed himself down, the oriental making himself comfortable to hopefully add to the welcoming energy he hoped he emitted from his being. "Such a nice evening," he purred contently to himself, holding his head high and his eyes closed, looking like he was in his own heaven.

Moonshadow padded up to the tom “Its a beautiful night isn’t it?” The molly asked.Moonshadow looked up at the beautiful sky feeling the cool breeze on her face she grabbed a vole from the fresh-kill pile and settled down next to the tom. The molly took a long look at the tom before meowing “Do you want this vole I saw another one in the fresh-kill pile.” She meowed nudgeing the plump vole toward the tom.

》He thought on it a moment, a few coming to mind. The delectable taste of toads, the plump nuttiness of squirrls. The fatty voles during a good season. He couldn't possibly decide! "Oh, that's so hard to figure out! There are quite a few I enjoy the most," he finally meowed, a blissful sigh escaping his carmel maw. "What about you? Do you have a more specific preference than I?" he asked, tilting his head questioningly toward the fellow warrior.

The molly replied” I do enjoy voles.” Moonshadow said looking at silverpelt for a moment then back at her friend.”Do you want to hunt one time togther?”The molly asked before taking a small bite of her vole. @salem
