"Well then, be sure to stay close to camp," Spiralheart warned in a motherly, yet affectionate tone. "I've heard tell that coyotes have been spotted in the forest!" She wasn't really concerned for the kit's safety- she was only playing with him. She hoped she didn't scare him- but that was unlikely. Spiralheart was never really the 'scary' type.

[Cedarbug] sat patiently in the clearing, anxiety shooting through his fur as he awaited the leader -- his adoptive brother -- to approach. Was he going to get scolded? Was he going to send him back to the rabbit hole he had resided in during all this time? Make him an apprentice again?

Deep breathes, don't overthink this... he tried to calm himself so Lionstar didn't think he was a total disgrace, if he already didn't.

Pebblepaw's cheeks went rosy with embarrassment as she commented on his appearance. "I didn't think I looked that sleepy!" Well, he was most definitely disheveled. He protested with a chortle, shaking his pelt as well to get out any lingering pieces of moss.

"Been up to anything interesting lately?" Settling down in front of Cherrypounce, Pebblepaw leaned forward expectantly waiting for her answer.

Lionstar wasn't terribly surprised to see Cedarbug in the middle of the clearing. He was like everyone else who went missing-- full of excuses as to why he abandoned the Clan.

"I'll take it you want to rejoin. Tell me, Cedarbug.. what is it? Did you chase a bug into the outskirts and get lost?"

Fogpaw nodded. He had always wanted to go to Lionsbeach. Today was the day he got to go. The white apprentice followed the older cat towards the camp entrance. Excitement ran through him as he followed.

Hickoryblaze narrowed his eyes as Thistlestep called on him, gaze trickling with curiosity. Special battle training? What was that supposed to mean? Were they in need of extra support? Oh, or even better! They could be being taught extra skills because they were so fabulous at this already. He liked that idea. Trotting over to the tom, he raised his chin. Hmph. He seemed to be a favourite of Lionstar's. He felt his pelt burn with slight fury as he remembered the Streamstone incident. He'd just been hungry, sheesh!

He noted the presence of Koipaw as well, and her mentor...Brambleblaze? That's what Thistlestep had called her. He'd better lay off the nicknames for now, he didn't think Thistlestep would be pleased with him. Dreampaw was nowhere to be seen. She was usually like this- the mysterious cat.
"Look, I hope you're not just going to drag us through the woods and kill us in a secluded space, because I'm actually excited for this." He mewed to the short-haired tom, raising an eyebrow.

Mossypaw was slightly dizzy from the hit but maintained his balance, somehow. Amber eyes narrowed at the deputy. "So you abuse anyone who doesn't listen." The little remark probably was going to get him in more trouble but at the moment he didn't care. The calico glowered at the tom, Great Starclan no wonder Lionstar staged a little love fest for this dude. Absolutely in no right molly's mind would they love this jerk. Thinking to himself as he thought of clever remarks to anger the deputy even more. Did Sootflare truly think that he was misbehaving? Gosh, this was how Mossypaw acted every day so why now was it a problem? Probably because Lionstar got hit in the head and decided to be more of a tyrant.

“Oh for StarClan’s SAKE!” He yowled, finally allowing his anger properly boil over, “Do you ever run out of snarky remarks or is that the only thing you’re good for?”

Sootflare wanted to snarl at the insolent tom be even he knew that was going a little too far. Instead, he sufficed with getting up in his face once more. The stupid tom and his stupid personal space needed to be knocked down about thirteen pegs, “I’m not going to sit here and play your stupid little games, Mossyass. I don’t know how you ended up as warrior with that attitude of yours but what I do know is this: I care about my clan. I want to see it thrive. I know Lionstar does too. And neither of us are going to sit here and tolerate you. Either you step up and stop acting like a child or you’re going to find yourself in need of a new residency.”

Now in the clearing, Lionstar turned to Creek. "You can explore for a bit, but when I call your name I expect you to come over to the Streamstone over there," he nodded to it, "and step forward below it. If you don't attend, your joining offer will be revoked."

On that happy note, Lionstar departed to head toward the rock.
