"thats probably due to the fact everyone in shadowclan aside from a select few has the brain capacity of a dead mouse!" wildpaw honestly didn't quite understand why everyone saw her vocabulary as so strange, they're the ones that thought calling people foxdung was a trend.. somehow. it was such a lame insult, why be basic when you can be pristine?
wildpaw shined a grin at woollyfeather at her congratulations, of course she'd get it second try, wildpaw was just pure excellence like that! something from that blow sparked something inside the small apprentice, something about that absolute power she put into that swing was.. warm. in some way at least, she couldn't quite put her paw on it. it was whatevs she guessed, something for another time.
giving a weak nod to woollybestie, wildpaw went ahead and backed up for this training. first starting with the duck and roll, she felt that was a bit.. much. she knew she would have to put some sort of effort into this but.. ugh. she mentally shook her head in a sort of vsco manner. but alas, she readied herself for the swipe and tried to do exactly as woollyfeather asked. her body felt stiff and almost sore as she ducked but that feeling quickly went away as she wound up her approach quickly and rammed her head into woolyfeathers chest.
after that was done, she listened again as woollyfeather spoke. she rolled her eyes about needing practice, things as immaculate as wildpaw didn't need such things! watching the demonstration it certainly seemed advanced, but wildpaw was sure she could grab the hang of it. as woollyfeather did, she walked over to the .. very.. thriftable.. tree. she resisted the urge to absolutely tear that tree limb from limb and bring it to her den and instead tried her best to quickly turn around [to no avail] and sent her hind legs into the air and stiffly threw as much force into the tree as possible, the bark somewhat cut into wildpaw's paws a bit with the amount of absolute force she put into her blow and whilst it didn't sting too bad she was still annoyed by it. well, at least it wasn't as bad as getting her tail burnt off. she looked over to the burn patch on the tip of her tail and sighed, all the rest of the burnt fur had healed by now except the tip of her tail and it was beginning to piss her off.
moving on to the next move, she liked the sound of it being best used against those bigger than her, as most cats were. she quite enjoyed her size as it allowed to her to slink around without being noticed, but it would certainly be useful against the average sized and bigger cats she'd fight. something about a death sentence made wildpaw's heart slightly drop, if there was one thing she most certainly feared it was death as death cared nothing about status unfortunately. readying herself, she used her strong power to her advantage and forced herself under woollyfeather reasonable quickly with use of her hind legs and immediately used that same force and kicked into woollyfeathers stomach hard, by this point she was on her back and still under woollyfeather so she unsheathed her claws and dug them into dirt around her to pull herself out, as she knew she simply didn't have the mobility to wiggle her way out. this worked and got her out from woollyfeather in a swift matter and back on her feet.
wildpaw took a deeeep breath and prepared herself for the next attack she'd learn. it seemed simple enough, although she did hope her use of claws beforehand didn't count. if it did.. wildpaw would simply gaslight her way out of it like any true girlboss. wildpaw again used her hind legs [they were beginning to become her best friend] and launched herself onto woollybesties back, she narrowly missed and fell onto her side. she growled to herself and got back up and tried again, this time her paws outstretched and ready to latch onto woollybesties fur, this time it worked and she latched on and gave a tiny nip of a bite onto woollybesties fur to signify what her next move would've been, before woollybestie rolled onto her. that.. hurt. but wildpaw got off the larger cat and back up, ready for the next attack.
[i had a bit of a hard time understanding this one so forgive me if its not what woollyfeather meant!]
wildpaw bit her tongue to affirm woollyfeathers concern that it was a stupid name because she certainly agreed, but she decided against it because she was wanting to get this training up and over with. after woollybestie finished explaining, she felt she had a better name in mind. "well, in my amazing opinion, maybe you should tryout calling it the pristine finisher woollybestie!! only things resembling purity could really end a fight in such a way hmm? food for thought!! maybe i should consult your ratbrained mentor though.. totes whatevs i guess!", aside from that, she went ahead and readied herself up and rose herself as high as she could and although she was stiff she used that to her advantage and slammed down onto woollyfeather, afterwards she used her back legs again and launched herself away to avoid retaliation.
sheesh, wildpaw was hoping this was the end of this. she was quite ready to go thrifting as her eyes had scanned the training cliffs many times and she was ready to pounce on its goodies. thankfully it was, so wildpaw readied herself for it. wildpaw went ahead and launched herself as if she was going for a headbut but grabbed woollyfeathers neck and shook it around before bringing herself back.
FINALLY THEY WERE DONE, dear starclan. wildpaw took note of woollyfeathers last statements about stance and tail position and said "wow, that couldn't of taken any longer hmm?? dear starclan that took forever, whatever i guess. lets get this spar over with." wildpaw said taking herself into a ready position.

Shadefrost lead the Rosepaw, yet again, through the forest, stopping only when he came to the familiar training grounds of all apprentices. The warrior walked over to the edge of the cliff, looking out on the distant land below with that satisfaction. Of course, the wind was a major hindrance to his enjoyment, but it didn't stop him. He took a long deep breath, savoring the moment before turning, towards his apprentice and saying in a happy tone of voice, "Alright listen up, this is the start of your battle training, meaning here I'll be training you to defend yourself from an enemy's attack, as well as how to properly carry out an attack on your enemy." The tom didn't see a reason in adding anything about death so early in Rosepaw's training, especially with her timidness. So he left out that he'd also be teaching her the places to hit if she wanted to take a life as well. "Before we begin," he said, his weaponized tail flicking to and fro lazily, "do you have any questions?" @Rosepaaw

Rosepaw was curious its almost as though he mistook her tiredness for timidness strange

"Cant we just get to the killing part" she said a little out of breath but oddly she was happy saying that which she instantly fixed knowing that was bad

Rosepaw then dug one paw into the ground and the other three were in a evasive fighting stance

She didnt know how her mentor was going to train her so might as well prepare for the trail by fire

Shadefrost gave a chuckle at the apprentices words, "that's the spirit," he said. Shadefrost slid into a comfortable battle stance then said with a wide smile, "I'm going to do a quick assessment of your physical abilities before we begin, that way I'll have a good idea of what to teach you going forward." He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, imaging that he was nothing but mist or some vapor of smoke, then he opened and said, "now attack me. I want you to use any and every move you can think of to bring me down and yes, you are allowed to use your claws if you feel that they'll give you an advantage.

Rosepaw smiled but instanly dropped it and her stance went a little weaker 'No, no violence please' she cryed in her head but she couldnt show it or show her other side

She stared at her mentor reading his ears and tail, she shifted her own tail and burst into tears

IF he lets his guard down and comes closer or less vigilent she will will slowly sit down but half way through the sitting motion thrust her hind legs and try to pounce on her mentor using claws to bring them to the ground

IF he doesnt she will stop and burst out the dug in paw flinging dirt at him which she will use the cover of and sprint towards him and try to tackle his legs using claws to pin them if that works

IF he attacks first without warning she will continue crying until he stops which the other two options take effect

Rosepaw waited for her plan to go into effect

Shadefrost gave surprised blinks, at Rosepaw's burst of emotion, "Umm, you okay? The question was asked purely out of consideration and worry, but he found it a little annoying, especially when there was no apparent reason for her to crying like this.

Her mentor took the bait now its time to reel them in, she sat there waiting for her mentor to get closer

Shadefrost took a few steps towards his apprentice, feeling quite confused and awkward, "look if it's something I said or did I'm sorry, but can you at least use your words? Crying like a kit won't get you anywhere. There was genuine frustration in his voice now, a sign that he was losing patience. What was Rosepaw even crying about in the first place. Actually, come to think of it, the tom hadn't said anything worth even one tear so what could have her tail in a knot.

Shadefrost jumped back in surprise as something came flying towards his face. A moment later the impact hit him like a falling tree and he found himself struggling not to fall down, while being cut by what could have only been claws. 'Hmm, not bad' he thought, before dropping to the forest floor and rolling over top of Rosepaw to get her to let go.
