“No, probably not. I am only 8 moons old and my mentor got demoted so it’s been hard for me to find training,” Pebblepaw mewed, with a hint of sadness. She wished she had her mentor back.

The senior warrior walked away, "Well, good luck with your training" She mewed, "I hope we meet again"

The tiny black she cat with white stripes dashed into the clearing from the nursery. She looked around at all the older cats. She wondered if one day she would beat one. She then spotted an unfamiliar kit. She waved over to them.

Redkit peered at the mysterious black and white cat. She sniffed, lifting her chin. "I did not think this was an invasion. That was someone else." Her eyes still stoic, she lowered her chin. "Redkit, by the way"

The large tom padded toward the rest of the cats gathering around the Streamstone.

Mountainkit sat at the entrance of the nursery. There hadn't been much going on around the clan, so it was nice to have a meeting.

Jaws parted in a huge yawn, Sorrelhawk stepped out from the warriors den and squinted against the brightness of the clearing. She would have much preferred to remain curled up in her nest but alas, Clan meetings were sometimes important. New apprentices, maybe? Warriors? Whatever it was, the fawn colored she-cat stepped forward to take a seat near the back, her blue eyes not looking up to Kestrelstar and instead scanning around to see if Morninglily was in the clearing yet.

She excitedly bounced out of the nursery the crowd growing as her clanmates spilled out of dens and various places. Tumbling and weaving through the crowd she took her place beside her clanmates excited for what she hoped would be her last day as a kit.

➢ Like clockwork, the dark long-furred tomcat looked up from his routine grooming upon the clan leader’s words ringing through the clearing. Ah, another meeting. Snowleap silently stood up, shaking out his fur before he padded over to the Streamstone to sit towards the back of the forming group of clanmates. In the past, he was usually one to sit near the front so that he had a good seat to listen to Kestrelstar and lay witness to whatever happened, but ever since he was named a shield and had that meeting, the oriental longhair seemed to go about things more carefully. By sitting in the back, Snowleap was able to keep an eye on everyone and make sure they were ready in case anything bad happened. They sat down comfortably and wrapped their tail around themselves as they looked towards Kestrelstar, blinking up at the gray-furred tomcat. During clan-wide meetings, Snowleap usually seeked out a friend to sit beside, but this time, he just sat alone. Isolating himself and trying to remain silent, like a lonely shadow off to the side. He had a lot on his mind and was trying to be more mature. Regardless, the dark-furred tomcat remained punctual and polite like he always had been.

➢ Hearing Kestrelstar’s loud and familiar voice, the small black-and-white-furred shekit stuck her head out of the warm Riverclan nursery. Was it finally time for her apprentice ceremony? She didn’t know for sure, but surely she was old enough to attend this meeting by now, right? Glancing back at the soft moss nests behind her for a second, her tiny ears drooped a little again as the young Riverclan kitten still didn’t see her brother Goosekit or her dear friend Spikekit still not anywhere to be found. However, Cloverkit simply refused to enjoy this important moment alone. “K-Kestrelkit! Come on, w-we’re going to be late!” She mewed into the den so that her close friend would be with her, not realizing that he was gone too. It seemed like her stutter was hardly present when around Kestrelkit, but maybe that was because she talked to him so much. After a few moments of waiting, Cloverkit bounded out into the clearing and towards the Streamstone. There was no snow and the rainstorm puddles were almost all gone, making it fairly easy for the young shekit to join the group of cats and sitting directly in front of everyone else, sitting down and peering up at the Riverclan leader with curious eyes. She had never attended a meeting before.
