Fawnsqueak could appreciate that she believed Lionstar to be all-seeing, but it wasn't that difficult to come to the medicine cat's den without the leader knowing of her presence. But as she went on, he... became unnerved and could actually see why she'd been sent here from her manner of speech. She was scuffed up but hadn't mentioned anything about that yet. "Oookay. Yeah, you seem pretty out of it." For once, he was thankful they didn't have the means for treatment because it enabled him to say, "Guess you'll have to see if you can sleep it off. Alrighty-- nice seeing you again." He was skeptical of everything that came out of her when she was acting off her rocker. So, taking it with a grain of salt until he could verify things with Lionstar later.

Lightfeather just stared at him with her dull eyes for a moment, then padded off. Of course I have to sleep... the only cure. Yeah, right. She wasn't tired at all, so instead, she just... sat at the edge of the camp. Nothing was coming to her mind other than the stressful things that had happened...

Foxpaw limped into the medicine den, her back leg still lightly bleeding. “Um, Fawnsqueak? Can I have your help please?” she called carefully, not wanting to intrude.

"Hm--? Oh!"

Fawnsqueak stole a peek at her leg and blinked, curious how the injury had been inflicted. "...So, uh, is it just the leg then?" he questioned a tad awkwardly and cleared his throat, realizing the why of the situation wasn't about to be answered through that mess of an inquiry.

Oddly proud of his small supply that would likely be gone in a day, he ducked into the back to break a portion of the mushroom away carefully. Fawnsqueak prepared it like Coyotesnarl had instructed and applied the fibers to where it was bleeding. "That should, maybe, soak up the blood and keep infection away, I think." It was what he'd been told, but who knew if it worked in practice.

Fawnsqueak presumed that was how she got the injury in the first place and emitted a contemplating hum, feeling insanely unqualified to make that judgment call but recognizing it wouldn't be any better coming from Otterstone. "Uhh, well, you don't really want the mushroom to come off right away," he debated aloud, "but it wasn't, like, super severe or anything so... maybe just wait until tomorrow? If it's not bleeding anymore, I mean." If it was, he hoped she'd have enough sense to return.

"If.. if you're still bleeding and the mushroom.. bits come off," Fawnsqueak said following a moment of flustered sputters since he certainly wasn't the authority on these matters but didn't know who else to turn to. "Then, yeah, you should come back so they can be reapplied but otherwise, just-- keep the area clean of dirt and stuff."
