Frostpaw wanted to say something snarky but didn’t want to get kicked out for being mean so she bit her lip as she followed the stupid warrior to the camp. She couldn’t wait to get away from him and get back to her own territory. Unless she chose to perhaps steal something also.

wolfwhisper watched the apprentice carefully, he was not going to yawn! no siree!! was she crouching wrong? maybe he was blind. oh man, he wondered if they would catch a frog today. he hoped not.

he prepared himself to bolt, waiting -- and waiting -- until aha! he tried to hide the surprise on his face.

"good job!" wolfwhisper purred, walking back on over to darkpaw. "you did really welll! seriously, you were just like -- ZOOM -- and POUNCE !! and then, BAM!! it was really cool from my perspective, " he complimented, making a small hole in a ground for darkpaw to put her catch in.

Her eyes glittered in the sunlight, her joy seemingly never-ending. She was ecstatic! She'd caught something without help! She bounced up and down as she dropped the small mouse inside the hole Wolfwhisper had dug. "Thank you, thank you!" She couldn't contain her excitement any longer, as it sprung out of her like a snake in the grass. "Oh oh, what's next??" She gave a toothy grin to Wolfwhisper as she awaited his answer. There had to be something else, right? Right! There was always something else to do! Always!

Smokepaw watched Owlspots do the obstacle course and then he looked to the log when she said begin. He watched Stempaw try to walk the tree but fall. Smokepaw padded to the tree and looked at it carefully. If he could walk up a tree, certainly we could walk across one? Smokepaw carefully got up on the tree, wobbling a bit before gaining his balance. He walked slowly along the tree, stumbling a little along the way and copying what Owlspots had done until he reached the end. He looked at the thorns and back a bit away, giving himself some distance from the thorns. Then, he ran carefully but quickly to the thorns, leaping at the last second. His back legs stumbled as he leaped, making him land in the thorns. Ouch. Thorns were digging into his pelt.
