Snowstripe gets up from where she sat down. She walks out into the territory with Doefeather. "Whats your favorite prey to catch?" She asked as she left the clearing.

Huh, she supposed she shouldn't be shocked it was Lionstar after all. "Damn, you guys work fast." Twilightstar had surmised that they might already know of the coyotes considering the beasts weren't exactly subtle. She hadn't expected them to have them gone! "I hope none of your clanmates were harmed too badly chasing them off." A touch of worry shone in green eyes yet she was unable to feel guilty about it considering they had once again done something without her needing to ask... again "Since it's safe I'll gather my clan and start getting them back now." She really hoped that this got her clanmates moving. She was quite eager to get them all back together.
"I don't mind if some of your warriors stick around, we could use the assistance. Several of my warriors are going to be out of commission and won't be able to do patrols and hunting so the extra paws would be greatly appreciated." The leader nods in much better spirits.
Twilightstar didn't really get this tom, not that she should look a gifted cat in the mouth, but he really was going above and beyond to help WindClan out. What was he even getting out of it? "Out of curiosity's sake, why are you supporting WindClan?" Twilightstar was unable to be actively suspicious or paranoid considering a decent amount of her brain cells were currently sleeping. She was running on blind emotion over logic right now.

“Oh. Hello there, Hailfire.” Lilytail silently cursed herself for not making it inside the Warrior's Den quicker. “I didn't see you there. Well, I kind of have to get inside my nest, so if you don't mind, could you please move out of the way?” Her voice had a sharpened edge to it now, and one of her ears twitched a tiny bit. ‘Stars, I'm so stupid! I should’ve guessed that she'd be here!’ Lilytail took a tiny step closer to Hailfire, hoping to get this encounter over with quickly.

Hailfire narrowed her eyes, but kept up the "friendly" facade. "Nonsense!" she crowed. "You don't have to go inside, it's an option. What you have to do is come hunting with me. RiverClan needs food, especially after the whole coyote battle. You don't seriously think that mutt he brought back is going to taste good, do you?" She flicked her tail, and just like Lilytail's her tone had also hardened. She began to nudge the other she-cat in the direction of the camp's entrance. "Come on. We can make it a game, if you want."

“It doesn't really matter if it tastes good.” Lilytail said briskly. “It symbolizes victory. Besides,” The molly continued, “Prey is prey. We can't waste it. Everyone in the clan can eat well. There's no need to hunt.” Lilytail flicked her tail, amused. “But if you can't stomach hard-won prey, I'll gladly go hunting with you.” She started walking toward the camp entrance. “Coming?” She called over her shoulder.

"Well, I couldn't let those coyotes think they were welcome!" Lionstar chuckled softly. "I'm just sorry we didn't get to it sooner. The coyotes hadn't gone near our border until earlier this morning-- and when we went to check on your Clan we found them instead.

"We didn't lose anyone, thankfully-- a handful were injured decently enough, but nothing we can't recover from. The coyotes had it worst!" He nodded to across the clearing, where Gentlethunder had dragged the coyote they'd killed. "Once WindClan is back on its paws, I'm sure they won't be much of an issue. They're cowardly-- enough cats band together and act aggressive and they'll turn tail and run."

He was happy that Twilightstar was willing to accept more assistance-- he wasn't sure if they could reject it at this point, even if they wanted to. "I can send them off with you so they can help your injured home?" He already had the cats in mind, and he'd be pretty displeased if any of them failed his expectations.

As for helping WindClan.. well. "You don't need three Clans picking on you and be jackasses, and frankly... it's been a long time since I've seen WindClan in any shape but 'bad.' Blazingstar had a good run when I was a kit, but he couldn't even maintain that momentum throughout his entire leadership. He failed his Clan, and Brightstar wasn't much better." If he remembered correctly, the cannibalism he witnessed was under Brightstar's reign. A testament to her failures as leader. A disappointment, for sure.. he liked the idea of having a golden crew.

"So, if this helps WindClan out of the slump it's been in for.. moons, then why not? It'd be nice to see WindClan be lively for a change!"

"I... didn't think he would do this to you." Flyfur admitted. "I thought he would try for you. To get to know you. But I was wrong. And I'm so sorry." She didn't know what else to say. She didn't know how she was supposed to react. But she was angry at her supposed mate.

The sting of pain leveled out after a couple excrutiating minutes of Sootflare's paws crushing cobwebs directly onto the wound, and Fawnsqueak's eyes fluttered open to assess the damage. He hadn't realized he'd been holding his breath through the worst of it until he inhaled, lungs refilling. Relief poured into him. "Nah, it's," he paused to recollect himself, "it's seriously fine. I thought I'd have to try putting it on myself. I didn't know..." Trailing off, he ended it with a breathless laugh. "I didn't know you would be inclined to just do it yourself. I appreciate it, though. Really."

Fawnsqueak doubted he'd been the best patient, far from the most brave. That title belonged to the warriors who'd sustained greater injuries and didn't cry out half as often. "As... much as I believe you'd be able to single-pawedly ward off the coyote-threat, uh," a lopsided smile, "I'm thinking they'll be okay-- oh." He was distracted by the trickle of RiverClanners returning with Lionstar at the forefront in his victory. "I guess I took longer to waddle here than I thought."

Watching Lionstar going for the streamstone, Fawnsqueak carefully tried to maneuver himself onto all four paws again but was cautious about placing weight on the bitten limb. "We should probably go see what he's going to say.."

Moonrise stopped outside the camp, trying to find the courage to enter for the first time in a while. It had been moons and most likely there was new leadership. Once she got the courage she padded into the camp. Familiar scents filled her nose and memories came back. She pushed them past her. She didn't want to go to far into camp, so she stopped right inside and waited for a cat to notice her. Moonrise didn't want to seem disrespectful by just walking inside.
