"a-ah, yes, that's me, powdernose!" the siamese chuckled awkwardly, slightly taken aback by the surprise in caliaflame's voice. of course, he had to remain respectful towards the medicine cat, no matter how young she was, and dipped his head in greeting. "i was just looking for you, actually, to congratulate you on receiving your full name. it's about time we formally meet, anyways," he said, a soft laugh escaping him.

powdernose sat down and tilted his head to the side, a polite smile on his maw. he looked down and cleared his throat, straightening his posture to keep a formal look to him. of course, he would always have an awkward stance to him, but the least he could do was try not to look like the lazy deputy he was.

that was easier said than done.

his fur fluffed up and he awaited a response from caliaflame, attempting to think of anything to say. "so," he said after awhile, "how are things going? everything is certainly dying down a little now that the war is over. but guards are still up and tensions will always be high, i suppose, though we can't do anything about that. with peace and with hatred must come a balance, or else something will tip over the edge, whatever that 'something' is." powdernose then stopped, noticing that he was speaking nonsense. "h-heh, forgive me for rambling!" his tail flicked, jaw clenching shut as he waited.

”Oh, well… thank you.” The feline responded, somewhat awkwardly, lowering her head in a sign of some respect. Caliaflame was already uncomfortable, having unintentionally greeted the deputy in an insulting manner, and it didn’t make things better that he wanted to congratulate her. She had never gotten much better at accepting the “congratulations” and “good lucks” that came with her job, and it felt strange that he was doing so as well now. ”I… also wanted to congratulate you, on being deputy… since we haven’t formally met… I hope everything’s been going well? You aren’t under too much stress, are you?”

Her eyes scanned over the tom’s fluffy frame, trying to see if there was anything she should be concerned about. It was hard to tell, since there was so much fur, but Caliaflame was careful to keep that comment to herself - she’d gotten better at that, lately. However, her mind was almost constantly abuzz with comments that would get her in trouble if she were to voice them aloud. Perhaps not with authority figures, but with warriors or friends. The she cat was grateful when the silence was broken, and she laughed a little - almost too cheerfully, the relief clear on her face, despite her efforts to hide it.

”It’s been fine, honestly. As long as we aren’t at war, I don’t have an overwhelming workload.” She was tempted to say more, but she’d never been too chatty - it would seem overly suspicious if she were to start talking more now. She already felt awkward, it would make it worse if she suddenly tried to become something she wasn’t. Caliaflame, no matter how hard she tried, would never be “typical” for her age. She’d taken a different path, and she had to be okay with that. It was easier when Wheatfur was here - but his death would always stay with her. No matter how old she got, she would remember that.

Cometwish eyes snapped open and she slunk out after them, so silent, she barely hear herself. Finally she waited with Flashfeet appearing at her side.

Greentail knew they were watching him and Fireleaf so he turned around and said "Why are you watching me?" Then he held a unsheathed paw at Fireleaf's throat "ONE STEP AND HES GONE" He said @Ombre Party

Dreamkit scampered through the clearing chasing a moth, her brown and white fur was clearly unkempt, her green eyes were focused on the moth until it left her sight, she flopped down into some grass and started rolling around in it. Until she felt a cat, specifically Flickkit. She barely noticed him as she began to daydream about eating caterpillars.

FlickKit leaped straight up into the air and spun around to see DreamKit. “D-DreamKit! Hey.” He mewed trying to play off what happened. He nuzzled the She-Cat. “How are you?”

Dreamkit finally snapped out of her daze and glanced at Flickkit,"What you da, wasn't listening." She squeaked embarrassment showing in her face.

“That’s okay!” He purred, licking her face. He hopped on top her her and batted her face. “Wanna sneak out of camp with me?” He meowed stopping the batting and licking her face, but still on top of her.

A fluffy cream colored Molly blinked her blue orbs as she looked up at the sky her ears folded back as she heard other warriors talking making her look at their direction she was...In a way envious of others that they could talk so easily and out of the blue it just didn't seem fair that she had to keep quiet in fear of saying the wrong thing well...at least I have my thoughts . She sighed and layed down with a flick of her fluffy tail and started to nibble on her front paws it didn't cause any damage to them and she didn't feel any discomfort while doing so she kept doing it .

She was like this ever since she was an apprentice , she always was afraid to talk but the other problems didn't kick in till she was older .She didn't have many friends because of them either so she put out another side of her a happier and kinder version of herself . The longer she kept pretending soon she started to fool herself but the joy of being fooled didn't last long . Dawnlight always loved her mother in a family way and to see others talking to her even her father made her very angry and jealous even when she was an apprentice it made her so jealous in fact that she killed one of her mother's friends in hopes that she would spend more time with her . She truly didn't mean to she knew it was a bad thing to do but...that side was just so overpowering she did it anyway . Like instinct almost . Luckily her mother didn't know . Even till this day . With a flick of her ears the twenty moon old she cat looked around again .
