Embershadow flicked his tail in annoyance. His apprentice should have been out of her den a while ago. Growing tired of waiting, he stalked over to the apprentice's den and stuck his head in. "Dapplepaw," he growled. "Wake up."

The dilute tortie apprentice got up, shaking his head.
“Embershadow..? he recognized his mentor sleepily. “Oh! Embershadow!”
Dapplepaw scrambled to his paws, getting out of the den.
”So what are we doing today?” he asked the big tom excitedly.

"Finally," Embershadow grumped. "I was going to come in there and drag you out by your tail. We're going hunting. I thought that you could get a feel for the territory while we're hunting without a separate tour." He led the way through the entrance and out into the forest.

“Hunting’s fun!” he meowed cheerily. “What are we gonna catch? I bet I’ll catch a lot of stuff. What are the best places to catch a bunch of prey, anyways?”
Dapplepaw rambled on and on, making it seem endless as he followed Embershadow. Then they finally made it out of camp, and he stopped.
“Woah..” the dilute tortie apprentice’s mouth gaped and he looked around in awe.

Webpaw sat in the clearing, hoping that her mentor would forget about her punishment all together. I only got lost, why do I have to clean moss then! She thought back to the time when she was a loner, when she didn't have to be loyal to someone like Dawnstar. She paused for a moment. Why have I been focusing so much on proving myself to someone I don't even like? Of all the clans I had to stumble upon, why did it have to be this one.

Frogpaw walked up to Talonstone he had heard of his skills Andy as fighting training was over Frogpaw was looking to others to train Talonstone right? I want training He said swift and bluntly, he wasn’t the talk type

Frogpaw sat alone the kits where resting and training was over for, the time being he had no friends and shrewpaw was some where else so he couldn’t bully him if you would even call it that

The frosty tomcat regarded the apprentice stoically. When he said nothing else, Talonstone prompted, "In what skill? Proper etiquette, perhaps?" Likewise, he preferred action over idle chatter; however, even he knew how to formally greet higher ranking clanmates.

Fighting, if that’s fine with you he muttered.

(It will take a little for him to calm down but he will be nice soon)

The warrior flicked his tail. "That, I do not mind. How experienced are you in combat?" From the defense session he had earlier with the apprentice, Talonstone knew that Frogpaw enjoyed it, but enjoyment and proficiency were two very different things.
