Ear flicking, Moonfrost noticed a change in Spiderpaw's disposition, and watched as Cloudpaw shied away from her to try to console her friend.
Oh little ones...
Padding to the pair of apprentices, the dark she-cat smiled warmly at them before giving them each a comforting lick on the head. Another apprentice needed her, and by the stars, she was going to provide. Placing a paw on Spiderpaw's shoulders, her hoarse, rumbling purr began in her chest.
I'll take care of you both. Don't worry.
Curling around the two apprentices, she continued to groom their fur, her distorted purr vibrating her pelt. If Spiderpaw wanted family, she would provide, just as she had for her adopted daughter.

Skystar was a bit weirded out by the fact that none of the newly made apprentices came to approach their mentors but.. uhh... he was sure that would work itself out. The golden leader turned to Oaksong [ @~StinkyStinky ] "Uh, kinda in the middle of a meeting so.. see me in my den afterwards." That was all he'd say on that matter. He then turned back to the clan on a much more serious note. "We also have a few new members joining our clan. They are being allowed to prove themselves to us, Darcy, Peace and Robin. Please step forward." [ @poppy. @Silverdream @starry. ]

Tentatively, Robin stepped forward. She was extremely confused by this - what was even happening right now? And why was Bright - no, Skystar - calling Darcy, Peace and them?? But she wasn't going to ask too many questions. Their blue orbs landed on Darcy as she tried to find some comfort, but then she directed their gaze at their brother once again. This was all going to be fine...

Darcy looked away from where she stood by herself as her son called her name, and padded forward, tail tip twitching with anxiety. Her sharp emerald gaze fixed upwards, but softened as she attempted to meet Bright, no... Skystar's gaze. Oh, my darling. I'm so sorry. Please stop hating me...

Hearing the new apprentices Honeystream let out a call of happiness. How great! New warriors in training. Once again, however, the approach of mentors seemed....sad. Irritated almost without even knowing the cats. Feeling the tickle in her throat to say something the orange tabby looked away from Vinewatcher and Whisperpaw as a trio was called up.

Honeystream looked on with fascination. Who were these cats? Had she zoned out completely that she didn't witness newcomers? She knew of the lot Kestrelstar had brought in...but who were Darcy, Robin and Peace? Lifting her head above the others, the best she could, the she-cat peered at the three. They seemed fit and as if they had their wits. There was a small resemblance with them as well...and obviously some discomfort. But they hid it well.

Tail tip twitching back and forth Honeystream felt a daze lift. Maybe new cats would mean new opportunities for more friends. She hadn't realized how much she missed companionship.

Huh, it seemed Peace wasn't going to come out.. well that was uh.. something he'd deal with later. If she wasn't going to come out not she'd just have to get her name later. "Darcy [ @poppy. ] and Robin [ @starry. ] may have been outsiders before, but no longer. Darcy, your new name will be Maplepaw. Robin, your new name will be Robinpaw. They're now members of our clan, and i expect you all to treat them as such." Skystar knew cats could get a bit iffy with outsiders but he hoped it wouldn't happen here.
"And now we apparently have some mentors who went missing so its time for some reasignments.
Maplepaw, your mentor will be Doeheart. [ @Ravensong ]
Robinpaw, your mentor will be Moonfrost. [ @RiztheHuntress ]
Wrenpaw [ @flopsy ], your mentor will be Finchbreeze. [ @starry. ]

Once the small black-and-white apprentice heard the clan leader say her name, she lifted her head, looking up at the Streamstone. Oh, right. She would have to have a new teacher since Kestrelstar was gone. Blizzardsky was her new mentor? Huh. Cloudpaw remembered the white-furred tomcat comforting her at the recent vigil, so she allowed herself to smile a little, knowing that the warrior would train her well -- at least she really hoped he would. He wasn’t Kestrelstar, no cat could replace him, but she was glad to have him take over her future training now. The fluffy molly knew she needed to go and sit with Blizzardsky, but she… she didn’t want to leave Spiderpaw and Moonfrost. But.. she needed to. “I’ll be right back.” Cloudpaw meowed quietly to the other apprentice and her adopted mother before standing up and hesitatingly breaking-away from them before padding over to the large familiar figure that she recognized as Blizzardsky. “H-Hi again, Blizzardsky,” She said with a smile, hoping that he would lower his head so that they could touch noses. Kestrelstar and her had done that at her last ceremony, so that’s what all mentors and apprentices did, right? Yeah. Maybe he would be able to take her to places in Riverclan territory she hadn't seen yet.

A smiled grew on her face as she watched her daughter walk to her new mentor.
Good. He will do well with her.
Her focus was quickly broken, however, when she heard her own name called out. She gave Spiderpaw a lick on the head before standing and approaching the newly named Robinpaw. The black tabby gave a dip of her head in respect to the she-cat, then stretched forward her head to offer to touch noses.
Hopefully you like it here. I'm sorry I can't speak, but I will do my best to teach you.
Her own reservations about her lack of voice raced through her head, but she was determined to not let it show. Moonfrost would do her best, as she always did.

The heavily pregnant molly looked up at her son as he gave her her new name. Maplepaw. "Maplepaw." She said softly, trying it out. All the other cats with paw at the end of their names were young. Like, 8 moons. She was 38. But she wasn't going to complain, instead dipped her head and turned. But then approached her and claimed to know who he was. "Do I know you?" She said, her loner anti sociality making her hesitate. "Do you... um happen to know who Doeheart is?"
