Her adoration switched into fear as she flicked her gaze up, peering into the lightening clearing. Dawn had just arrived and the clan was beginning to spring into action. What laid beyond the clearing is what gave her fear. The uncertainty of Bucknight's demands, the uncertainty and instability of the clan's beliefs. She closed them and tried to relax her mind, Everything would be fine. She'd be fine, Burdock would be fine, their family would be fine. She wouldn't let any of them die under her protection. "I need some rest." She sighed. "You should get your family soon, introduce them to the newest addition." The thought made excitement flutter in her chest. She was excited to show off her young ones, for them to become the best in the clan.

With a yawn, Burdockpool gave an absentminded nod of his head. "Sure sure," he meowed, flicking his tail onto hers as he settled down to sleep. "After some shuteye," yawned the tom, "ain't nobody gonna miss an elder like me catching a few late winks." The kitting had most assuredly tired him out as well, watching and helping her out in any way he possible could. "Besides, Aurorawing always takes the first patrol, she'll be busy."

Ash pressed her head back against him, his body warm where it curled around hers. She purred a little more strongly, soothing the kits and her own nerves. "Sounds good to me." She said softly then curled back in towards the kit. Picking none in particular and just the closest one she absentmindedly licked its tiny head. It was unbelievably small, she never realized they were truly so small when they were first born. She'd never been a fan of kits so she'd never witnessed a birth that she could remember, or know fresh kits.

Shadekit got up out of the nest and started to walk towards the other kits, then she sat down back in her nest. She watched the other kits sadly.

Sapphirekit nodded and smiled playfully. Moonkit watched Frostkit, thinking she still had the ball. After a moment of aiming Sapphirekit kicked the ball at Moonkit and it hit her side. "Hay! No fair you tricked me!" she mewed, and kicked the ball at Frostkit.

Shadekit laid down, watching Frostkit and Sapphirekit play moss toss. She wished that her siblings would let her play with them but they would just laugh at het, calling her a sick runt.

"Let's go!" Burrpaw smirked, crouching as low to the ground as he could with three paws, keeping the fourth tucked close to his chest.

Maplefall, who had been lying in her nest stood up and nuged shade kit forward, "come on, if you want to play with them just ask."

Moonkit giggled at her sister, and looked back at Sapphirekit. He smiled and looked to Frostkit. He kicked the ball to Moonkit, and she ducked down. "Haha missed me!" she mewed, and the Moss bounced of the nursery wall and hit her in the head. Sapphirekit bursted into laughter. He stood up and readied himself as Moonkit crouched down and pounced at him. He rolled out of the way, but ended up rolling into Frostkit.
(We gotta make these guys apprentices soooooon...)
