Talon and her siblings, Frost and Pebble, stood in their adopted mother's territory, not knowing what to do. I hope Thyme is doing good, wherever she is. She thought, looking up at the clouds.

Cody woke up when Kara nudged him. He nodded tiredly, and stood up. The small hazel tom's ears perked at the sound of more cats. His head whipped around to see... "Talon? Pebble? Frost?" Cody padded cautiously over to them. "Wh-what are you doing here?"

Cody's gaze fell when Talon asked where Thyme was. He gestured to the large, smooth stone that was surrounded by colorful flowers. Tears started to well in his ice blue eyes. The small tom's body shook, and he couldn't hold back the river of tears that had emerged from his eyes. Cody didn't say anything... he couldn't say anything.

Frost shook his head, not believing what he was seeing. "No. No no no no no..." He backed up, shaking his head. Talon just stood by the flowers, her eyes filling with tears but not spilling out. "How... did this happen?" She asked slowly, turning toward Cody.

Cody's ears were pinned, and his tail was between his legs. "I d-don't kn-know... i w-woke up... a-and... a-and... and..." He couldn't finish the sentence.
