Linnetwing frowned. "Then can you show me your best crouch?" , she asked in an emotionless voice. She was dark and grey on the inside. She didn't quite know what to do. She missed her adopted son Brightpaw. Every cat she loved ended up leaving her behind.

Standing atop the boulder Forestpaw was admiring the area with the sun shining down, spots of light kissed ground, and the many trees. Wow she thought to herself. Suddenly she realized her mentor had started speaking, she caught most of it but when her mentor said they would be climbing trees the young feline sucked in a breath. Wheter in fear, surprise, or excitement even she did not know. As her mentor described what they were doing she nodded carefully watching Sageflurry as she climbed the tree. Forestpaw sucked in a deep breath as she unsheathed her claws. Stepping towards the tree she lifted her paw just as she had seen her mentor do and pulled herself up. She the heard what her mentor said and started pushing with her back legs. Pushing herself towards the branch she let out a triumphant mew... then almost fell. She sqeaked in fear as she almost fell only to have her front paws still hanging on. After getting herself back together she stiffly and nervously pulled herself to the lowest branch. Taking a steady breath as she stepped onto the branch she embarrassingly mewed ,"Was that...okay?"

She watched silently as Forestpaw did her best to copy, a flicker of pride in her eyes as she managed to make it up to the branch. As fast as she was proud, however, it was quickly swallowed with fear as her Apprentice fell..or almost fell. Within a matter of seconds she was beside the other molly, but once she realized she didn't need to do anything, and the younger feline had handled it all on her own she gave a soft smile. "Very good. We can work on your grace once we start the more difficult traning. Right now we're just taking Kit steps." she instructed. With that, the Calliby hopped down from the branch and began to pad in another direction.

Out for his second walk of the day, Cormorantglide peered up at the branches that sheltered him and cast their dappled shadows upon his back, feeling strangely connected to the forest today. He was... content... it felt strange. Cormorantglide hadn’t felt just pure contentment in a while; sure he was happy when good things happened but that wasn’t the same. What had changed to bring him this feeling?

The trailing thoughts in Cormorantglide’s head snapped to a halt in the face of an unfamiliar scent, though, and he froze. The young warrior looked around warily, smelling a loner, and his fur rose along his spine. Another? The black and grey tom stepped forward lightly, peering through the trees at the figure of a cat.

“Who are you and what are you doing on Thunderclan territory?”

Forestpaw glowed with pride as her mentor said it had been very good. After hearing the rest of what her mentor had to say Forestpaw gave her chest a couple embarrassed licks. Her mentor was right though her climb hadn't been exactly...graceful. Kit steps...Forestpaw could do that. Forestpaw jumped down from the branch landing on the forest floor. Phew. Well that was okay, she thought to herself. She had actually enjoyed climbing the tree, It was a slight challenge but a fun one. And if it impressed her mentor she would do it all over again. Grinning Forestpaw followed her mentor to the next section of their territory. @Starfall

Racing through Thunderclan Territory, Mapleleaf felt a twinge of regret. He would miss Thunderclan, but this was the best opption. Wasn't it? No time to turn back now. He was gonna change his name and live out a peaceful kittypet life. Leave his past behinde him.

Cormorantglide’s paws thudded rhythmically against the ground as he trotted in Mapleleaf’s wake. He could see the tom’s haunches ahead of him and kept careful watch of him to make sure he really was heading for the border; no matter how irritated Cormorantglide was by his behavior, the young warrior didn’t really want to have to fight a cat who was a clan mate up until a moment ago. At least not so soon. Luckily, though, it seemed that the former Thunderclanner was heading straight for the border.

Pausing at the edge of the Thunderclan scent markers, Mapleleaf paused. Right paw, Over. Left paw, Over. Ha! He was half Thunderclan now, less then he'd ever thought he'd be as a kit. Right paw... Over. "Cormorantglide?" he called over his shoulder, "Don't be stupid. Like I was." Left paw, Over. Mapleleaf trotted into the shadowy woods, disapearing quickley from sight.

Sky was wondering around, trying to find one of those forest cats. The blind tom sniffed the air and scented a Thunderclan cat. "Are you one of those forest cats?", he asked. Sky was hoping he was. He smelled just like the land they were on. His clouded eyes looked right into Cormorantglide eyes without him knowing. He was good with direction, so he wasn't useless.
