Ciara rolled her eyes as Jake stood in front of her. She pushed him away from her, letting out a low hiss. "Jake, just because I am carrying a child inside me doesn't mean I can't defend myself. When I was carrying Moon, I-" She stopped, realization hitting her. "M-Moon... Where's Moon!?" Moonwatcher was missing. "Esther never said anything about the plushies taking people!" Ciara cried, slamming her hand on the table so hard it cracked and sent sharp bolts of pain up her hand to her arm.

Kane sat by the window, wondering what happened to Poppy when he heard her hit the table near the bed. Thinking it was an accident, he didn't look back. But just seconds later, he heard her ask him what had just happened in a panicked tone. "What ha-" Kane started, turning around, but stopped mid sentence at Poppy's appearance. Her hair was black with bright green stripes instead of the maroon red it had always been. Her eyes were a brighter green then normal and had a black splotch around her right eye with large wings on her back. Kane felt dizzy. What the hell is going on!? First those plushies, now this?! Kane did not know what to do. "I... I don't know! What did you do?! Can you turn back? What is happening to me and my friends!?" Kane held the windowsill, trying to prossess what had just happened.

"K-Kane! I'm so sorry! i didn't mean to scare you!" Poppy said worried. She took a deep breath and the wings disappeared as well as the splotch on her skin but her hair and eyes didn't change. "I guess the hair and eyes are permanent!" poppy said looking at Kane "Do I really look that scary?" She bit her lip trying not to cry.

Ciara hugged Jake back, crying into his shoulder. Moon was gone. She had vanished into thin air. Jake promised that they would find her, but Ciara was unsure.

Ciara gasped at Jake's threat. She grabbed his wrists, holding them so tightly that she was hurting him without realizing it. "No! Jake, wait! Remember that Esther is just a kid. She can only do so much! She must have forgotten to mention that somehow! Or maybe she was going to mention it but we left before she could tell us! Esther-!" A voice interrupted Ciara. "Ciara..." Ciara let out a scream of fear, clutching Mr. Hopp close to her, catching herself putting one of her hands on her belly lump.
