goslingkit considered this for the briefest of seconds, refinely-built head once again tilting ever-so-slightly to the side. "but what if it's a while from now until I become an apprentice?" she rumbled, questioningly. "what if I never do participate in a battle? wh-what would happen then?" she peered back down at her inclined dappled forepaw, studying it for a moment before flexing her thumb-claw. carefully, precisely, with the utmost precaution, she drew a talon briskly downward and toward her pawpad, orange eyes enlightening with interest. then, straightening forward, she hooked the claw into the crevices of her pad; almost immediately a wave of... pain? shock? agony, perhaps? rippled throughout her as she traced it - almost absentmindedly - across the paw's cushioning. a teeny trickle of blood leaked out from the indent, and the little tortoiseshell's forehalf snapped back in pain, a shriek of surprise evading her maw. "ouch! that hurt." the pain continued to flicker throughout her, but goslingkit wasn't all that worried: right now she was focused primarily on the blood-licking. ever since she had witnessed goosefury slash his claws across the eyes of that speckled brown cat, goslingkit had awaited her turn to taste the red liquid. why exactly? goslingkit... well, she wasn't particularly certain as to why she felt the need to drink blood. but hey, just a droplet would make do. and so, tongue flicking out from between her jaws, she swept it briefly across the jag of her paw, and instantly she could sense a drop - which was in all honesty all she longed for - of the liquid soaking into her chin-fur. gasping, she hurriedly jerked backward, an eye blinking a few times, perhaps in an effort to rid herself of that horrible acrid taste. huh - maybe this was what beanpaw meant by 'mettalic,' because, truth be told, goslingkit was beginning to think the whole slitting of her paw wasn't worth the absolutely disgusting outcome.

It was a crisp morning and the forest was alive with prey; Spiritedleap thought this would be the best time to start a hunting training with her new apprentice. Peeking her white and black speckled face in the apprentice den, she scanned the nests for her apprentice. At first, her gentle green eyes fell to her own kit who was sleeping soundly in a nest. She wanted to go over and give him a good cuddle, but she reminded herself that this was not the time. Her gentle gaze continued it's movements before it fell to Acornkit. Her maul curled happily and she pushed into the den with quiet pawsteps. Coming to the young one, she lapped at Acorn's head gently, an affectionate wake-up. She was a very motherly presence. A whisper slipped from her maul, "Sweet one... Wake up."

It took a few heartbeats before Acornkit woke to Spiritedleap’s gentle voice. She slowly arouse then noticed that it was her mentor who woke her. “Spiritedleap!” She mewed cheerfully before noticing how loud she was then corrected herself. “Are we going out training today?” She sounded eager. This would be her first time getting out of camp.

The pale faced she-cat was happy to hear the enthusiasm in the others voice, her black speckled face bobbing in an answer as she took a few steps away, continuing her whisper, "Yes. We're going for a hunt. Take a few moments to wake then meet me just outside the entrance." Her chest rolled in a quiet purr before she turned to exit the den, her white tail being the last to disappear from sight.

Wolfpaw layed in his comfortable moss bed, he had to make it bigger to accommodate for his very long fur. The only other cat in the den was Mosspaw, Wolfpaw really wanted to talk to someone so he turned to Mosspaw."Hey!"

Mosspaw looks up from where he was tapping his paws and watching a small Leaf Nitcher Weevil walk accross the ground. "Hm?" He searches for the source of the words. He spots Wolfpaw in his bed. "Oh, hi. Who are you," he asks, tilting his head. @Goldenmask

Wolfpaw responded.

"Oh nothing much, Lotusheart hasn't taken me on any training today, maybe tomorrow. Who's your mentor?"
Wolfpaw asked.

"Oh, it's Coastbreeze," he says, "but I just got apprenticed, so I don't know him too well. We haven't done snything yet." He thinks for a second before saying, "What's Lotusheart like?" @Goldenmask

"Well she's pretty nice and encouraging, a good mentor. Also she has another apprentice, Brightpaw!"
Wolfpaw said.
"A few days ago we went to the beach and tried to catch some seagulls, i ended up hitting my face against a rock but afterwards i caught one! And Brightpaw had caught one too! There was also a smell of rats but i'm sure it's fine"
Wolfpaw smiled.
