"You sure you don't want me fighting some evil traitors? You know I can do actual battle moves," Swallowkit couldn't help but complain as she trudged after her brothers. She was good at fighting! That nice warrior, Corm or something had helped her learn and she was totally ready to beat someone up. Fluffing up her fur so she once again looked double, nearly triple her size she looking around for an opponent. Yet then she realized they were going into Buckstar's den and she couldn't help but roll her eyes. "Are we fighting Buckstar? I am sure all three of us can take him on. Like you guys gotta be the distractions and I'll be the main fighter obviously." But nevertheless the bouncy kit bounced along with her brother's despite her complaint. "Soooo what prank are we pulling? the 'oh no your family died to a badger attack' prank? Cause I think I can go find a badger! And we can make it like... actually happen!" Lookout could work too and she nodded but still wanted to go along with the badger idea. Tugging Wrenkit with her she turned towards the entrance, sending a sour glare Kestrelkit's way. "Come one Wrennie, Kestrel doesn't want us to be part of the fun, just take the blame."

Lookout? Wrenkit didn’t want to be lookout! He wanted to be in on the fun. Besides, how was he supposed to let Kes know that someone was coming? His brother didn’t really think this out. The kit huffed and waved a paw to get his brother’s attention, tapping his throat with a look that said I can’t talk, dum dum!

As Swallow pulled him toward the entrance, Wren huffed again and shrugged, butting his shoulder against hers. Although, when she joked about badgers he pulled away. Wrenkit hates when Swallowkit made jokes about badgers and he squeezed his eyes shut, putting his paws over his ears and shaking his head vigorously. Already he could hear the growling and he started to shake.

Honestly, Kestrelkit tuned out most of his sister's ramblings on the way to the ThunderClan leader's den, as brothers tended to do, instead choosing to brainstorm ideas of what kind of pranks to pull. He kept coming up extremely flat.

The calico tom sighed with a dramatic heave of his orange-fluff chest when both his siblings started whining about being lookouts. Well- whining in their own ways. Kestrel's leafy-green eyes leveled Wren with a pointed look, his ears twitching dismissively at the excuse of muteness. "You can alert me in other ways, mousebrain," he countered flatly. Kestrel knew Wrenkit was a lot smarter and more capable than most cats credited him for, so he refused to give any free passes.

"And no-" the smaller tom rounded on Swallowkit, nearly jumping when he noticed she'd tripled in size [and quickly trying to compensate his smallness by ruffling his fur]-- "you're not fighting Buckstar, Swallow. Just because you're hanging out with a warrior doesn't mean you are one. Wait-- no, Swallowkit, don't go!"

In a paw-ful of seconds, Kestrelkit's masterful plan to prove he wasn't a coward to everyone splintered into oblivion. Swallowkit was glaring at him, ushering Wrenkit away-- but not before she managed to mention badgers again, her insensitivity pushing their oldest sibling into practically having a panic attack.

StarClan.

Kestrelkit took a deep breath, giving the den one last longing look before he approached Wrenkit. He shot a nasty glare at Swallow before gingerly resting the tip of his tail on their older brother's shoulder. "It's all right, Wren," he mewed, trying to make his voice soft as the moss in their nests. "You're safe. No badgers. Swallow didn't mean it. You're here, with us, earning glory and honor for pranking the highest ranked cat in ThunderClan."

He knew that Wren would have to come out of it on his own, so he didn't say or do anything else to prompt it, not wanting to accidentally make it worse or anything.

Now... how to fix this miserable situation. Kestrelkit realized that if he was to convince both siblings to stay, which he had to because he needed both of their help to pull this off, he was going to have to share it with them equally. That was the only way. The middle kit huffed out a breath, swiping his tail across the air as if to punish it for his impatience. "FINE. Both of you can do cooler stuff than be lookouts. Your first job can be... helping me think of a better prank. My thorn idea isn't cool enough, everyone does it already.." Swallowkit and Wrenkit usually had more creative ideas than he ever did. Maybe they could come up with something amazing.

It had been a few days since the patrol to WindClan's border, where Rainywhisker had attempted to begin teaching the new apprentice. Maybe she'd gotten something out of it- But if she didn't, he didn't blame her. Their Clanmates were far more interesting than any lesson probably. The stormy gray warrior pokes his nose into the apprentice's den curiously before dipping back out to look around for the little ginger she-cat. "Valleypaw," the tom meows loudly. He'd sit and wait patiently. Maybe she was good at being on time when summoned. If she wasn't, however, at least he had time to figure out what in StarClan's name he'd be doing with her today.

Valleypaw seemingly materialized at Rainywhisker's call, but had really just come over from the otherside of camp where she had been previously looking for her sister. "Long time no see." She huffed quietly with just a tiny hint of disdain. The youngling had grown a bit impatient in the days since the patrol, waiting on Rainywhisker to take her out once more. Just a taste of life outside of camp had gotten her hooked and she wanted more immediately. To be honest, she'd been a whiskers length away from hunting the tom down by herself and making him take her out one way or another. "Battle training today?" It was becoming clear that she was in quite a mood today - though taken light-heartedly it could be seen as cute coming from an apprentice fresh out of the nursery.

Bloompaw tilted his head drowsily at his sister.
"Doing ok. I miss mama, but otherwise, yeah. I've made a few friends."

"Hmm?" Buckstar glanced up from where he was grooming himself in the center of the clearing. His tongue remained visible for a few fleeting seconds before he registered her words, and he gave her a small smile. "Of course you can. Who's your mother?"

"My mama's Birchpelt! She's a brown tabby like me! Except she doesn't quite have my swirrrrrlsssss, she's got speckles and stripes instead."
Bloompaw hoped his description helped the leader. He was happy that Buckstar had said yes, he wanted to spend some time with her since he became an apprentice. He hadn't seen her much.

Bloompaw had been drawing patterns in onto the ground when Softbear boumdednthrough and almost squished him. He squealed a bit in fear, believing this would be the end of his life, and eyes screwed shut tightly.
When the end didn't come, he peeled open an eye to look at the big fluffy tom cat in front of him.
"Mmmm.... Hello. I was making patterns in the ground with m' paws."
He explained.

Forestpaw gave him a small smile but something he said made her tilt her head. She hadn't seen Birchpelt or mom...around recently. Could something have happened to her? Was she hurt? Was she missing? These thoughts all raced through Forestpaw's mind as she started to frown. Was she okay? Was she.....stop! Focus! And stop frowning you might worry Bloompaw! Snapping back to attention she asked Bloompaw curiosly, "Who have you made friends with?". She didn't want to be nosy she was honestly just curios.

Bush padded over and stopped. He didn't want to give the Clan cats a heart attack. He looked affectionately at Yellow. He had no idea how many kits she would have, but he knew he would love all of them. Flower made sure her fur was nice and silky. She was going to find a mate here! She had to. Her Harley Quinn eyes gave away her... dirty nature. @Slushie
