He lashed his tail and flicked his ears, his paws shuffling on the ground as he gave a small grin, I'm learning from the best... "Goo." He said curtly with a slight nod. "Now, with kicks and swipes, you must aim very carefully. I know I just stated that but you must know the importance of it. Aim is a key factor when it comes to fighting. A miss apcan cost you your life." He said rather seriously. "Now, practice your aim on the gorse bush right there. Just take some swipes and kicks at it. Vary your moves and let me see what I have to work with here." He said indicating a bush to his left.

Ebonypaw nodded and padded over to the gorse bush, his eyes narrowed as he crouched, having watched the other apprentices it wasn't as messy as he thought it would be. The tom lashed out at the bush, his claws hooking a small patch of yellow flowers. He tossed them onto the ground and took a deep breath, hoping to get the move he had practiced so often as a kit correct. He dug his front claws into the ground and sheathed them as he spun around, kicking the bush. Ebony gave a surprised yelp as one of his back paws got caught in the bush and he dropped to the ground. He grumbled and got to his paws, giving Singenight an embarrassed look, "I imagined that going better.." He mewed sheepishly.

Greenkit stopped playing with the moss ball and looked up at hareleap "can you promise me something can you try to help me find my parents and siblings sometime" he asked with hopeful pleading eyes

Singenight gazed, with an eyebrow cocked up. He was impressed that Ebonypaw already knew a useful move like that, to bad he messed up. Singenight gave a slight scowl and replied boredly. "Obviously." It was short, expressing some disappointment, and some annoyance. "Now, the move its self was good, now you need to be aware of where your paws are going. That way you get, well, stuck." He said. "Watch." He said as he moved over to the bush in just two short strides, his long limbs covering the distance easily. He unsheathed his claws, still tinted slightly pink from the bloodshed of the rebels. He aimed carefully, but moved quickly, landing several blows to the bush. He swiped up, then across. He spun around and aimed a kick that hit the square of the bush. Ashe whipped around, he pulled both of his claws up and raked them down wards along the bush. Then calmly he turned back to Ebonypaw. "Practice." He said, his voice low. "Practice and aim can make the difference between life and death."

Redwhisper nodded slowly, "I guess you're right... I hope it is a good change. We need it." Redwhisper took in the scents around him, he caught a fresh scent of mice closeby. "Lilacleaf! I think I smell mice nearby!" He said happily and quickly went to follow the scent, forgetting all about the cold and Singenight.

Ebonypaw nodded and watched his mentor quitely, his ears perked. The tom padded back up to the bush and unsheathed his claws again and lashed out at the bush. He gave a satisfied grunt as a small group of flowers was ripped out of the bush. Ebony continued to lash out at the bush, his swipes getting harder as he continued. The tom narrowed his eyes and spun around, slamming his paws back paws into the bush. When he hadn't fallen over he gave a small smile and turned back to Singenight, "Like that?" He asked, suppressing a purr of satisfaction, I did it!

Falconkit got up and saw Wildkit. "Oh no you don't." she said. She started to push the kit back to the mother. "Dove...cloud...your kit...?" she said.

He told him, his tail flicking behind him as his eyes got bright. With Singenight as a mentor I can be the best! He thought, his ears perked as he pulled a small petal out from between his claws.
