Re: The Lion Guard Reset (Again xD) -Private-
(Damn XD)
"Off we go," Kila pushed the boat one last time before leaping up into it. She dug her claws into the wood below slightly, peering excitedly into the water as the boat began to move, eyes sparkling.
##
"Prince Kion."
"Princess Yuki." Kion smiled warmly at the young tigress in front of him. "How are you?"
"Good." Yuki stretched. Yuki was from the Rainforest District, the King's daughter, and the oldest of her siblings. She was the heir, and she acted like it.
"And your father?"
"Better than ever." Yuki grinned widely. "So what brings you, Golden Boy?"
"I have something to discuss." Kion lowered his voice.
"Really? What could a handsome little golden boy like you want with the rough-n-tough, dark tigers like us?"
"I need a favor." Kion smirked.
"What's in it for us?"
"A piece of the Pridelands." Kion may have been going a little far there, but no harm, no foul.
"Oh!" Yuki looked interested. "Well, you've come to the right place."
"Yuki! What's going on-" Sage paused when she saw Kion. Chaka's sister allowed her gaze to flicker up and down the golden cub, eyes narrowing coldly. "Who's he?"
"Sage, my friend, this is-"
"Prince Kion." Kion held out a paw. "Pleasure to meet you." Kion had never referred to himself as "Prince" in all his life. Something was definitely up, not that these two would know that.
"Princess Sage." Sage replied, shaking his paw. "Pleasure's all mine, I assure you."
"Kion, are you sure about this?" Kovu pulled Kion back with a paw on his shoulder. "These people here are merciless..."
"Hate the sin, love the sinner, Kovu." Kion jerked out of his grasp.
"So, about that favor..." Yuki crossed forward with a wide, toothy grin, and Sage's ears perked up, interested. "How can we help, Princey?"
Kion's smirk widened.
(Kion's up to some bad stuff)

Re: The Lion Guard Reset (Again xD) -Private-
(Good point XD)
"Kion." Kovu's voice was sharper than before, reaching out to prod Kion's shoulder with a paw. He ignored Sage and Yuki's burning glares, and Kion's uninterested look. A bad feeling had settled in his stomach, and he didn't like it. "I'm telling you, this is a bad idea. And Simba would never agree to this." He added, expecting Kion to back down at once when his father was mentioned. However, Kion simply rolled his eyes, and Kovu's ears went back in surprise.
"Please, Kovu." Kion huffed, raising his head and glaring at the older male. When Simba was mentioned, Kion rolled his eyes. Maybe a week ago, thoughts of his father would have deterred him from his new plan, but not anymore. Not now, at least. The golden cub continued. "Look, why don't you go back to the Outlands. I have something to discuss." He stood and padded past the darker cub to Yuki's side, and the tigress flashed him an amused smile.
"But-"
"Or you could come with us." Yuki piped up, interrupting Kovu rather rudely. "We're going to talk over drinks. Our bartender knows how to mix those berries up good." She added cheekily, and Kion snickered at her words, amusement shining through his amber eyes. Kovu, however, slid a step back.
"No, thanks. I'll go see Kiara instead." Now, that got a reaction. Annoyance flared up briefly in Kion's eyes, but there was a darker look in his expression Kovu couldn't place. He smiled warily, then cleared his throat. "Goodbye. Ah- Nice meeting you, girls." He added quickly to Yuki and Sage, before spinning around and bounding off toward the Pridelands. Nope, he wasn't going to see Kiara. He had to find Simba. He knew the King hated him, but Simba had to know what was wrong with Kion, right?
"Hmm." Kion watched the Outlander go. He'd never been a big fan of Kovu at all, especially with the lion dating his sister. Well, now it didn't bother him as much, but something about Kovu just... Annoyed him. The other cub was such a scaredy-cat sometimes, too. Coward. But he was up to something, Kion knew it.
"Forget about it." It was Shadow Kion who spoke, following Kion's gaze silently across the border. He stood beside the male, never moving from the golden cub's side, just as a shadow would. He was invisible to the others, but Kion saw him clear as ever. "We'll take care of him later. For now.." He angled his head toward the females beside them, and Kion followed his gaze with a smirk.
"Well, anyway." Kion stretched. "I believe we had plans for a drink?" He grinned as the girls nodded.
"Yes, we did." Sage wound around him to the older cub's side, stretching up on the tips of her paws in a luxurious stretch. "To discuss this favor you wanted of us."
"And what we get in return, of course - Part of your precious lands." Yuki purred, her voice thick with anticipation at the idea. Her father truly would be proud of her. With a smirk and a chuckle, Kion headed off. Yuki spared Sage a glance before heading after him, followed quickly by the other female.

Re: The Lion Guard Reset (Again xD) -Private-
(I think so. She hasn't been on today ;-; )
"Wow." It was all Sage could think of to say when Kion told them what he wanted, and what they would get out of it as well. She gazed at the cub, a mixture of respect and disbelief flickering through her beautiful green gaze. "And I thought we were smart. I guess you don't mess with Pridelanders." She marveled. "This one's smarter than he looks."
Kion smiled dryly. "You're not so bad yourself, Blondie."
"Well," Yuki looked just as astounded, a little wary as her eyes met Kion's. "I say we skip with explaining this to my father. It'll take him a little while to decide. But," Yuki shifted into a more comfortable position. "I believe we can give you what you need, provided you serve us as well."
"Perfect."
Yuki nodded admirably. "I think we just found us a new ally."
"Indeed!" Sage exclaimed, smiling warmly at Kion. "Have you told anyone else of what you plan to do?"
"Nope." Kion smirked. "All me."
"Oh, who cares." Yuki crossed forward. "You know what? Forget the offer for land. I want something much greater." Kion tilted his head as the Tigress stopped in front of him. "After this is all over with, I'd like you to build your Kingdom beside ours."
"Not a problem." Kion grinned.
"Great!" Yuki purred. "Well, then, ally," She held her paw out to him. "I hope to see more of you soon."
"Don't say that, you might not be able to get rid of me in the future." Kion joked, shaking her paw as he stood, sliding his empty cup away with his tail.
"Are you sure about this?" Sage piped up, looking faintly concerned. "Once we enter you for the war, there's no backing down. You come when you're called to fight, no questions asked."
Kion gazed at her, a smile tugging at his lips. "That's exactly why I want to enter." He turned away, then glanced back. "By the way, Yuki, since I was already planning on building my Kingdom beside yours, the offer for you to take any piece of the Pridelands you want is still on the table." With that he headed off, leaving the girls to stare after him in wonder.
"Yuki." Sage turned to her with a grin. "He just might be our greatest weapon yet."
"I agree." Yuki watched Kion go. "I wonder how useful he is on the battlefield."
"We'll find out."
"Yes, we will." Yuki nodded. "He'd be a great soldier."
"Oh, forget soldier." Sage nudged her. "He'd be a great King."
"Ha! Why do you think he's making his own Kingdom?" Yuki laughed. "I don't have a prayer of getting that boy. His heart lies with his girl."
"Fine." Sage shrugged. "He'll still be a useful ally for the Rainforest."
"Indeed." Yuki turned. "Let's go tell my father."
"He'll be overjoyed." Sage darted off, and Yuki followed quickly.
(Yup! Kion and Atazi are gonna have their own Kingdom~)

Re: The Lion Guard Reset (Again xD) -Private-
Red eyes gleamed from the shadows, watching Kion, Sage, and Yuki. A smirk curled across his face as he listened, hearing everything he needed to know. Perfect... His eyes focused on Kion, watching him walk away before something else caught his ear.
"Ha! Why do you think he's making his own Kingdom? I don't have a prayer of getting that boy. His heart lies with his girl."
His grin widened even further. He loved it when there was a girl involved; it made things so much better. With a silent chuckle, he disappeared into the brush.
--
Atazi hummed softly to herself, her paws neat and quick as she wove together a mat from dried grasses, and strips of bark to hold everything in place. She stepped back to admire her work, before placing flowers on the edges to give it a sweet look. "Perfect." She hummed, placing the mat in the entrance of the cave which had changed a lot while Kion was gone. A curtain, made from vines and leaves hung over the entrance, drawn back and tied up with another vine during the day to let light into the usually dark space. Inside was a soft nest, lined with a gazelle pelt. The process of getting it was slightly complicated, but it was worth it. Placed in woven baskets was fresh gazelle, the baskets set in a part of the river that kept the meat cool, but the baskets wouldn't float away. It had taken awhile, but Atazi was happy with the way the cave looked; even if it would be temporary. "I hope Kion likes it." She murmured, looking at the coconut shell cups which held expired berry juice. Picking up a baobab fruit she had hollowed out, she began pouring in certain juices to mix up a blackberry-blueberry cocktail. Taking a couple of river reed straws and placing it in the cup, she placed it on a raised rock that served as a table. Swishing her tail, she moved over to check on the gazelle leg pieces she had set out on a hot rock, warming up the meat. She placed a few crushed herbs on them, using a cleaned stick to spread the paste over the meats to season them. Picking them up and placing them on a flat, woven-grass plate, she put them on top of the table. Now, all she had to do was wait for Kion to come on. Her blue eyes searched the horizon curiously, waiting for him.
