Honeykit turned and tossed every so often in her nap, dreaming of things from her past she barely remembers. mewling in discomfort ever so slightly.

Honeykit just nestles herself more deeply into her mother, thats already fast asleep, curled up against her only kit, honeykit.

This kit was a bit weird, but kind and funny. She stopped for a moment to watch him eating, then lowered her head and sniffed at the furry body. It brought the musty scent of old bark and dry leaves, but she could also smell some of the sweetness that came from droplets of blood where it was bit.

Mintkit decided to take a bite of the hind leg first: juicy, but weird. It didn't taste nothing like fish, and the fur stuck between her teeth. She tried to remove the skin with her mouth, but then she wondered if two kits would actually be permitted to use two pieces of prey from the pile. Maybe it was better to save them for someone else? The kit was still eating, but she decided to leave the rest of her squirrel for the elders.
"Uhm.." she waited for him to lift his head, then replied: "I'm going to take it to the elders' den. Maybe he would come with her? She left him the choice and waited for a sign before going.

The calico grinned at the younger kit and laughed. Great! Now you have your own stuff. I can maybe take you out to the clearing. Depends on if the queens catch us or not. she said with a smirk. She didn't like to disobey the older cats but she was having fun and she didn't want it to stop! Her little tail tapped its tip against the nursery floor excitedly.

Honeykit was eating some fish from a kill an apprentice had brought to the nursery, the salmon scales getting stuck in her fangs. she grumbled and started picking the scales out with her tiny claws.

Blossomflight groomed herself, purring as she felt movement in her pregnant stomach. [open]

He walked into the nursery, seeing his mate grooming herself. "Hello! " he purred, settling down in the nest next to her, cleaning himself dry because he was dripping wet after fishing. Once he was dry, he curled up next to her. "I've got to go soon. The prey pile is running low, and I need to hunt so we don't starve." He got up, licked her ears, and left.

Blossomflight sighed as he left. The two never spent much time together since the molly learned she was having kits...
