Sunleap was proud when he heard the names of two of his kits.
Rainclaw didn't care that Dogkit and Sheepkit were becoming apprentices despite the fact that they were her kits as she thought of them as troublemakers who never behaved and didn't deserve to become apprentices.

Perhaps he'd gotten a bit out of paw. Cracklekit wasn't his kin, so it wasn't his place to decide how he should be buried-- no matter how inclined he felt he was.
Sharpclaw backed off and took a seat, all ears on Bumblestar as she continued with the meeting. How she could keep calm after that little riot was a mystery to him. If he were in her paws he would have personally bit each and every one of their heads off.
He kept quiet as she reassigned a pawful of apprentices, and then assigned some newer ones as well, though he didn't chant any of their names. Instead, he snuffed and flicked his ear. So many apprentices in need of new mentors. Were his clanmates that lazy?

She didn't really care if these cats were here or not. They'd figure it out at some point or another.

Assuming the bodies were gone - or, at the very least, would be momentarily, lest she'd have somebody's head - she craned her neck toward the nursery. "Fawnkit, Deerkit, Dogkit, Sheepkit!" she called. "Come out here!"

At least the babies had enough sense to be chill and do what they were told. Bumblestar lifted a paw to rub at the drying blood caked to her muzzle, attempting to get it off before she was fully in few. Some of the lingering gore flaked off, only resulting in red-stained cream fur. Oh well, the kids would have to suck it up.
"Good on you guys for being on time." At least she could feign sounding interested for the moment. "You've all proven to be ready to begin your training, so from now 'till you receive your warriors names, you'll be known as Deerpaw, Dogpaw, and Sheeppaw." A glance down to the last of the four. "Fawnkit, there's already a Fawnpaw, so you'll be known as Fleckpaw. If you don't like it, you can change it back if they go missing or once you're ready for your ceremony.
"Deerpaw, your mentor is Hazelflash [ @Lillith ]. She's strong 'n reliable, you'll find good training with her.
Dogpaw, your mentor is Yarrowcrest [ @spookywynds ]. He's got a good heart-" stupid, sure, but at least decent "'n I doubt he'll let you down.
Sheeppaw, Ghostwhisperer [ @vampire. ] will handle your training. A bit odd, that one, but capable. Won't lead you astray.
Fleckpaw, I'm assigning you to Violetfreckle [ @vex ]. She's..." Bumblestar trailed off briefly, eyes picking the she-cat out of the crowd as her gut did a weird flutter before she tugged her stare away again. "She's got valuable skills to pass on. I think you'll do well with her."
And with that out of the way, Bumblestar dropped her chin heavily to her paws as she fell silent to allow the Clan to congratulate the new apprentices and for them to meet their mentors.

Dogpaw walked up to Yarrowcrest and touched noses with him. @ spookywynds
Sheeppaw was unaware what was happening or that she had apprenticed. When her sister touched noses with a strange warrior the deaf six moon old she-cat was confused and stood completely still, wondering why Dogkit touched noses with a strange warrior. @ vampire (Sheeppaw's open)

Fawn didn't care much for the name change, though it did kind of hurt her for a name she was so used to be called will be changed. Shaking her head she goes up to her mentor and touches noses with Violetfreckle.

Deerpaw was ecstatic though keeping his composure he calmly went to his mentor and touched noses. Excitement shown in his eyes, as he wanted to jump in happiness though he was an apprentice now not a kit
