"I- yes, I've gotten into fights with loners plenty of times. I know how to fight." He decided not to get on the tom's bad side if he wanted a chance to get in the Clan. "I'm just not used to the cold and marshy land here, that's all," Thorn added, putting his paws down. His pads were getting uncomfortable but he didn't want to show that he was being a baby.

Brighttalon ran into a problem quickly. He couldn't spot an opening in the ice anywhere where he could get to the edge of the river and pull himself out. Suddenly, this didn't seem like a good idea. More like something that should've been put off until new-leaf. He looked at the ice while still swimming around, hoping to find a thicker spot that would possibly hold his weight. @WinterRabbit5350

Brighttalon hissed in reply. He was trying to get out of the icy water, and all Whitepaw could think about was how long it was taking? Big surprise. He finally found a spot of ice that looked thicker, and hoped it would hold his weight. He was surprised the ice he use to get into the water held him up. But he didn't know how he would do this. He couldn't just climb out of the water, because without his front paws, he'd sink. Definitely one of the worst ideas he'd ever had. @WinterRabbit5350

She rolled her eyes, at first, but then noticed he was, a bit stuck and was getting a bit worried [Hey she has a bit of care!]. "A-are you alright?" She asked a bit worryingly.

That was an actual big surprise. Whitepaw started with an eye roll, but then asked if he was okay. Brighttalon mewed, "Yes. Do you see a way I can get out here?" Whitepaw had to learn something while they were out here, other than to not swim in leaf-bare. Otherwise, he was wasting his time. @WinterRabbit5350

She looked around, a bit, unsure how he could get out, but looked at the ice and his position, if he couldn't just climb out, how could he get out? [She's fine, she just doesn't want to be the reason her mentor dies, that's not a nice thing to ever think about.]

Heronflight smiled and nodded. She had t act as if she had never been on a patrol as this was her first one back. Cats needed to know that she was a former rogue instead of the truth that she came back from Starclan. "I've never been on a patrol as I recently joined Riverclan as a rogue. I ind of got the idea of what it is though.", she meowed. Heronflight continued to walk until they got to the pools. Her paws just wanted to get going. She was just so excited.

Oddpaw was thankful for the frosty layer of iced muck that held his frame between him and the freezing mud at the edge of the territories River. His large eyes were like a hawk searching for its prey, but the prey in question was fish.

Well, he was looking but not catching. Not yet! He was no where near ready for that just yet, too young and too... goofy. His shadow hung over the high winter sun, alerting the fish to his presence. But how would he know that?

He smacked a white paw into the water with a small huff, sealing his fate of not catching a fish that afternoon.

Copperpaw stretched his elegant figure, his tired golden eyes tracking the silvery fish that darted in the water. Cottonstrike had never taught him how to fish, and Echopaw had been insanely just.. herself, distracted by Fawnsqueak, by everything. In. Sane. Was he insane? ,,he didn't know. No idea. Probably, though. The possibility was very real. But back to the taska t hand! Copper turn his head to stare at the water, carefully keeping his shadow away from the fish. He didn't notice the other cat, so when Oddpaw slapped his paw into the water, it was a bit of a shock.

"W-what?!" he gasped, spitting out the water that had snuck in his throat when he fell into the water. "Surely something adorable as you couldn't have made me almost drown!" The shock was apparent on his face, his eyes wide with surprise. The cat was drenched from head to toe, and sitting dejectedly in the freezing water with his ears pressed flat to his head. "Do I look pathetic?"
