Copperpaw stretched his elegant figure, his tired golden eyes tracking the silvery fish that darted in the water. Cottonstrike had never taught him how to fish, and Echopaw had been insanely just.. herself, distracted by Fawnsqueak, by everything. In. Sane. Was he insane? ,,he didn't know. No idea. Probably, though. The possibility was very real. But back to the taska t hand! Copper turn his head to stare at the water, carefully keeping his shadow away from the fish. He didn't notice the other cat, so when Oddpaw slapped his paw into the water, it was a bit of a shock.

"W-what?!" he gasped, spitting out the water that had snuck in his throat when he fell into the water. "Surely something adorable as you couldn't have made me almost drown!" The shock was apparent on his face, his eyes wide with surprise. The cat was drenched from head to toe, and sitting dejectedly in the freezing water with his ears pressed flat to his head. "Do I look pathetic?"

Oddpaw paused. The soggy tom in front of him was.... utterly baffled.
He loved it!

In a short few leaps, he was in front of Copperpaw. His paws were in the water, the icy chill a shock but the pure fascination for Copperpaw absolutely numbed the cold sensation. Oddpaw was inches from him the wet feline, his wide moon kissed eyes practically staring into his soul.

"You look marvelous, Darling! A little wet but... purely dazzling," Oddpaw meowed, adoration oozing from each word.

Dayheart smiled. Not because he had any reason to smile -- it was cold outside and Day despised the cold and the 'freezingness' sort of hurt, so he was generally not having a Good Time. Besides all of that, though, life was pretty sweet. Cold, but sweet-- so why not smile?

The cold was starting to sink in, the shock of the freezing water becoming clear to Copperpaw. He shook his head suddenly, splashing droplets of water everywhere. He almost inched back when Oddpaw came closer, but didn't, quickly remembering the fact that he was currently sitting in a pond in the middle of starsdamned winter. As the Siamese's glowing eyes stared straight at him, he felt a blush slowly making its way up to his cheeks. His soft face warmed, and he felt tingles racing through his body. "Whatever," the cat muttered, shaking his shoulders and lowering his head. But he couldn't resist Oddpaw's moonstruck face, and he looked back up as the other tom began to compliment him. "Uh.. " Copperpaw began, faltering. "Uh, thanks? Dazzling? Me? I.. think not??"

She looked around, a bit, unsure how he could get out, but looked at the ice and his position, if he couldn't just climb out, how could he get out? [She's fine, she just doesn't want to be the reason her mentor dies, that's not a nice thing to ever think about.]

(Ahh so sorry! I saw this but had to get off, and then forgot about it)

Brighttalon decided to take his chances at climbing out of the water. He made his way to the ice, then quickly placed a paw on the ice and dug his claws in. With the other three paws, he continued to paddle. It wasn't easy, but he managed to keep his head above water. @WinterRabbit5350

She watched as Brighttalon began trying to get himself out, and was, unsure of what to do still, how do you get a cat out of this situation without putting yourself in harms way, was that, even possible?

What could be do next? Despite being a RiverClanner, Brighttalon was not the best swimmer. His ear twitched, and he put his other front paw on the ice and dug those claws in. Now he was almost completely hanging from the ice. He couldn't decide if that was a good thing or a bad thing. @WinterRabbit5350

She was, still unsure of what to do, but decided to walk over a bit and ask what she could do. "Is there, anything I can do to get you out of this...situation?" She mewed as her mentor was almost out of the icey water it seemed, she assumed this could go wrong with one misstep.

Brighttalon didn't remove his eyes from what he was doing. "Yes, you can back up and stop distracting me," he snapped. He carefully unhooked one paw from the slippery ice and put it forward, hooking his claws in it again as he started to slide. @WinterRabbit5350

She rolled her eyes a bit, but then backed off, if he wanted her to stop distracting him, then so be it, she began grooming herself to take advantage of the situation, it was beneficial for both of them.
