Great StarClan, this was escalating. The gray tom watches the scene through unhappy, narrowed eyes. Sunhowl egging the apprentice on, who appeared to merely be challenging the kit, wasn't the prettiest picture. Not in his opinion anyway. Standing up, Rainywhisker saunters closer. He looks down at Rosekit and flicks his tail.
"Go sit where I was sitting," he suggests to the kit, before turning his attention to Sunhowl. "Before challenging our apprentices to break the warrior code and strike you, I suggest you try and assess the situation at paw. Rosekit has been in the den for days trying to give me a reason to choose her to train. Hopepaw probably knows that and was fooling around."
Pausing, he turns a cold and pointed stare upon the apprentice in question. "A foolish prank on a kit, nevertheless. But one Buckstar can handle- Not someone trying to provoke an unfair fight. So, how about you sit down, and let this meeting go on."
Without waiting for Sunhowl's answer (something he figured would be heated), Rainywhisker pivots and returns to where he'd been sat until before. Hopefully, pulling Rosekit out of that mess would help her avoid any future problems anyone wanted to try and stir up.

Sunhowl turned to Rainywhisker and nodded. “Maybe so, but I don’t appreciate vague gestures of my murder.” He mewed before moving away from the apprentice. He realized this probably wasn’t the best approach but, he genuinely didn’t care.

Even the sound of his voice was an odd comfort Dogspirit allowed herself to bathe in. A small broken purr managed to wiggle its way out of her body thought the awkward little sobs. This wasn't like her; to be weak. Around a tom of call cats... But Rainywhisker never really registered as anything but her mentor; as this... almost parental figure. She was desperate enough, even a tom she barely trained with, could qualify. But in her soul she knew he was more than a good warrior, better at that.
"Men SUCK," was all she managed to hiss out, borderline hysterical. The idea of a mother was cool but it hadn't settled with the molly, not yet. Ignoring her bulging stomach, she buried herself back into his dark marbled fur, not ready to leave his embrace just yet. "Im barely grown myself... and now I'm going to be a mother. I don't know, Rainy. I-I don't know.."
Rainywhisker wasn't sure how long they would stand where they were, in such a delicate embrace. He didn't know what to say or do for Dogspirit. He didn't know her on any higher level, he wasn't even sure about acting this close now! But she needed him, he knew that much. And he wasn't about to let her fall on her own.
The tom relaxes over her, resting his chin atop her head and shutting his eyes. He knew that he wasn't going to be what she really needed right now, but maybe he could be enough. "You'll be alright," he murmurs, speaking softly in a low tone. "There are experienced queens here who will be with you, and cats who won't let you go a second time." He knew he wouldn't. "I'll be here. I don't know anything about kits, but I'll be here."

Martenkit sat near the edge of camp, weaving together small strands of grass and some feathers from a thrush he found in the fresh-kill pile. The dark ginger tomkit hummed loudly as he finished the grass/feather crown, plopping it on his head. I'll make more for the other kits, he thought, and then I'll have more friends!
Bounding back over to the fresh-kill pile to get more feathers, Martenkit bumped into another kit. "Sorry!"

"Ready to go!" Sparkpaw said, keeping her leg up. Her tail was beginning to feel like a bit numb, but practice would probably help... probably.
Hawkpaw dropepd into his natural crouch, and mewed. "You start, only rule is do not attack my limp leg, thats unfair." He mewed

Sparkpaw frowned. "The fact that you thought you had to tell me is kinda upsetting, but I got it." She rolled her shoulders again, moving to a more comfortable crouch. "Let's go."
"Well then, Leafshred, you can make sure she gets seen to later," he replied cordially. "Sunhowl - I think it's best if you took a seat. I'll be handling it later, thank you."
Great StarClan, it seemed as if he couldn't get through a single meeting without some kind of disaster happening, and then there was always some sort of follow-up to the meeting drama that he'd have to deal with later, and it was just... ugh. He couldn't ever catch a break.
With a tired sigh, he tried to reorganize his priorities. Ceremonies first, the... announcement he dreaded next, Hopepaw later. That was the plan. Stick to it.
He turned his attention back to the rest of the cats. "There's a couple of announcements I need to get to today, and I think I'll be getting to our rising apprentices first. Spiritkit, Magpiekit, and Dawnkit-" He hoped the kit was around for her ceremony this time. "-I'd like you three to step forward."

Rosekit nodded. "Thank you, Rainywhisker." She padded over to where he used to be and sat down. It was nice of him to get her out of the mess, and Hopepaw too. She frowned. Was he right? Was Hopepaw just.. fooling around? Or was something even more sinister bubbling under the surface of the innocent, naive apprentice’s mask? Her blue eyes were full of confusion, and anguish. Would Buckstar yell at her? Did she do something wrong?
Everything was so confusing! Her tail tip trembled. Why couldn't a meeting involving medicine cats go without talk or action of murder? A though running through her head made her want to wail with terror. She had seen what had happened to Frostpaw. Would... would that happen to her? Would Buckstar throw her off the Thunderwillow?!
