Paige ducked, narrowly avoiding the beam. She happened upon an archive storage room, with logs of Pavel's past experiments.
Pictures of a young female program littered the folder of the experiment labeled "023-SKY". Horrific and grotesque photos documenting what looked like dissections were in great abundance.
How did this program survive all that?
She chanced upon a sketch of a transparent, disc-like object with thin orange lines running across it.

She immediately called Tesler's flagship for a pickup.

Pavel got there before Tesler. He dragged Amber, and walked inside his lab. He went to his testing chamber, and took some notes. He clamped Amber to the metal plate, and began the coils.
Amber cried out in pain, loud enough for the whole lab to hear, Tears were running down her face.

Paige had an ingenious plan hit her.
This was perfect! She could prove to Tesler what Pavel was doing down here.
She took a deep breath, moving her short term memories aside, and prepared to watch. She hated this kind of thing, but this was the only way to bring Pavel to justice.
Her disc would be full of incriminating evidence by the time he was finished.
Wait... that wasn't the program from the pictures. This one was taller. She had brown hair; not blonde, and it was shorter...
Hold on... that was Amber; one of the soldiers under her command!
