(Sorry I’m late.) Alderkit made sure to keep up with Snowfern. When they reached Lionstar, she looked down at the ground in shame.

Fawnsqueak announced his presence with a scuff of his paw, feeling a tad guilty for sort of sauntering in like he owned the place. Maybe he did spend too much time in here. "Hey Lionstorm," he greeted, that alone selling out his state of mind. It was a downer visit. "Kind of have a situation in the medicine cat's den. Puffpelt."

He had a feeling Lionstar would get the hint and follow him back to the den.

Lionstar took a moment to ponder this, humming softly to himself. "He has one shot to remain well behaved in your care. If he continues to act out.. I see no reason to keep him in our Clan since he would have proben his disregard for the well-being of our Clan-mates."

It might seem harsh, but this would mean Darkkit was unwilling to learn and grow - traits he so desperately needed. "You're free to go, Flyfur. Thanks for letting me know about his.. transgressions, and keep me posted."

As Snowfern brought in the stupid baby, Lionstar let out an audible sigh.

"I AM TIRED of you babies DISOBEYING camp rules and leaving. You want to explore the territory? Fine." His tail lashed, but overall Lionstar remained composed. Even his expression was void of anger; the closest thing he had to emotion was his cold eyes. "Then get out of here, Alderkit. And don't come back. I don't know how many times it's been said to stay in camp, but since you clearly can't listen, I don't know why we would bother allowing you back in when you can't even respect basic guidelines." Maybe she could sell herself to him, but he seriously doubted it at this point.

He was done with this repeated problem.

Alderkit broke into tears at the way Lionstar talked about it. She knew he was right. She felt so ashamed. “Fine, then,” she managed through her tears. “I’ll leave, and I won’t come back!” She broke into a run and sped out of the den, out of the camp, into the territory. She thought about her mom, Flyfur (@Rainquail), and her brother and friend, Tigerkit(@Tigerstorm0926). But Lionstar didn’t want her, and she didn’t want to be a burden to the clan.
(I thought that someone could go out looking for her, but I would like it if you told Flyfur and Tigerkit that Alderkit ran away.)

Uhrg, Flyfur wished she didn't have to revisit so soon. Goslingkit, however, was a massive concern to her. While she hadn't hurt anyone, she was rather gruesome and constantly talked about.... eating other cats. And talking about ripping off pieces of their enemies.

Yuck.

"Lionstar? I know it hasn't been long since I last dropped by, but I have a few concerns about that kit that Goosefury brought to me, the one he named Goslingkit. I believe her mother had been..... Sparrowsnap?"
Hopefully this left little room to doubt which kitten she was talking about. He wasn't stupid or forgetful, she was mostly babbling to avoid the next phrase she needed to say.

And he was busy.

Very busy.

Always busy.

Suddenly her mind went back to the cat mostly unknown to her. Sparrowsnap....
He nose scrunched. She still hated this cat, who ever she was, for literally abandoning her kit. Why have them if you won't be taking care of them?
Then her face turned from sour and angry to worried as suddenly Alderkit ran through her mind. She hadn't seen the youngling in days. What happened?
"And I seem to be missing a kit."
It hurt her to say it, but she had to find out what happened if nothing else. It was what she hadn't wanted to say but needed to. She hadn't lost a kit since Meadowkit (unless you wanted to count the apprentices that left mid training, both her own and the ones she had taken in).... and the idea that something happened and she hadn't done anything about it made her mind disquiet, her head reel.

As Fennelheart barged into his den, Lionstar arched his brow at her.

"And why should I give you another apprentice?" he questioned, voice terse. "The last two I gave you were completely neglected, you hardly even acknowledged their existence."

Fennelheart held her gaze with Lionstar,” Yes I did terrible with them, but I’ve done well so far with Leopardpaw. She’s learning to hunt and is doing great so far. I’ve dealt with Echopaw and she was contained by me from rambling about wanting to hunt a fawn to give to fawn. I believe I’ve helped her to learn to contain herself and therefore believe I would do well training her.”

"You've had Leopardpaw for about a half moon," Lionstar reminded her coolly. "None of this is exactly reassuring you can handle a second apprentice." Unless she magically buzzed Leopardpaw through his training, Lionstar wasn't going to be quick to sling another onto her. "So give me a real reason why I should entrust you with another. And I don't care about Echopaw - she is Cottonstrike's apprentice, not yours."

Fennelheart held her gaze with Lionstar,” I would be the perfect cat to mentor Bristlekit, he’s a bit snarky and strong-headed, and frankly. He’s a lot like me when I was a kit, I believes he needs the steady paws I could offer him to help him learn when it’s okay to be snarky and when to force yourself to be respectful. Something I struggled for a long time with and wish I was taught as a young apprentice by my mentor. I’ve been working hard to prove to you I’m not the same cat who came from Skyclan. I’ve done my job as guard and helped rebuild the warrior’s den. I may have failed you, but I have no interest in failing you again. Besides if I was dumb enough to fail you, well you know I’m getting older, if I failed you again you wouldn’t hesitate to exile me or prevent me from retiring when the time comes for me to become an elder. I want to prove to you that I’m a loyal, hard-working and competent warrior.“
