She hadn’t meant to upset him, but she couldn’t exactly lie anymore. She hasn’t outright lied, everything had a bit of truth in it, but this time an outright lie was tempting. She didn’t though. Honey, he can’t protect you. You see.......he’s dead. If he was here he would visit you and take care of you all the time, but he can’t. I’m sorry. It was unfortunate, how much loss her kits had already suffered. @Exis

Venomkit sniffled, “He could visit me in his dreams.... why won’t he.... where is he... who is he...” He could help it. He just wanted to know who his dad was. Maybe his dad had trouble with the colors too, maybe his dad knew.

Did she tell him? Did she tell her perfect, worried son that the cat that had so terrified him, the cat he thought was going to hurt him, was his father. We weren’t mates honey. It was an accident on his part, I always wanted kits but couldn’t find the right Tom, and then you and your siblings were like a gift from Starclan. He....if he knew you were his kit he would visit you. But I don’t think he was. I’m sure he will soon though. she added, attempting to allay his worries. @Exis

After Silentkit's adventure of mouse destruction, she padded into the nursery, not realizing how cold it was outside until she realized how warm it was inside. There was still berry juice in between her claws, and she set about doing a deep cleaning. My paws are freezing! How did I not notice? After she was done getting every bit of berry out and washing the bitter taste out with water, she noticed a calico kit looking a bit forlorn. I guess I can't make friends unless I talk first..."Um...hello?"

@Exis Silentkit has cat vitiligo but hasn't noticed the small patch of white on her back yet. Maybe Vemonkit could notice and point it out?

Venomkit shuffles his paws nervously, “Is there a reason you won’t tell me his name? Was he bad?” He asked curiously. His dad was dead, ok he could handle that, his dad didn’t know he existed, that he could handle, but what next? Who was he?

Venomkit turned to the cat with a white spot, he’d opened his eyes to a squint today, but he knew tomorrow he’d have to keep them shut tight so not to over exert himself. “Hi!” He said happily before turning to his own back, “Cool we’ve both got different colors on our backs. Wanna make a club?” He asked genuinely. It was so fun.

"Yes...Club fun." Once again, Silentkit's speech patterns were killing her social life. Wait, only my paws are white...What's he talking about? She twisted around to get a look at her back. The kit was right! There was a small white patch on her that she swore wasn't there before. What was going on? I...don't want to think about it. Maybe I can ask Ebonyfang if it gets worse. "I...Silentkit. Your name?"

Venomkit smiled, “I’m Venomkit, Silentkit is a cool name.” He mewed in Ernest. It was a super cool name to him, like a pledge or a secret.

Doeflame's ears flattened slightly at the question. Was his dad bad? That was a strange question, but she still had to answer it she supposed. His name is Blackhaze. He was very popular, but left after Dawnstar came to power. Then he died. But no, he wasn't bad. At least, that was all she was willing to share at this point.
