With Sentinel gathering some marigold close by, the chocolate point decided to look around Willow's Rise once more, finally spotting the patrol leader, a clump of cobwebs in her maw. Ah, so she had simply gone out to gather the sticky threads then. That was fine. No death for the patrol today. Good. He rather enjoyed being alive. The less reason Angry had to even know he existed, the better.

With a shrug, the tom rose, grabbing the marigold he'd already clipped in his own mouth and only grimacing slightly at the bitter taste before his gaze returned to its usual, blank state. With a nod at her statement to leave, he padded forward, eager to give the damn flowers back to Puppy because... these were no prey. They might not sting to high hell like the herbs the previous, evil herb cat had trapped him with - his paws could sometimes sill feel the discomfort - but that didn't necessarily mean he liked them. Gratefully, the camp was right next to them, the willow an incredibly close landmark as far as ThunderClan's territory went, and Sprucejumper was swift to deposit his findings before himself, his white mitted hind paw rising to behind his ear as he scratched, waiting for Snake-be-gone-no-more to report so he could go back to the finer things in life. Like napping. Right after a delicious bit of fresh prey.

Antpaw was dissatisfied. In his eyes, the hunt was ending prematurely. If they had continued, maybe they could have caught something more than just a bird and a squirrel combined. Antpaw sets down his own piece of prey, eyes furrowed, and humphs.

Right, that went fairly well. Arriving then at the Undercrag, Snakefang made her way over to Wolfpaw. "Right, we've got the marigold and cobwebs." She began. "Went fairly well I’d say." She placed the marigold down first, then took the cobwebs and also placed them down.

The tom dipped his head as another patrol came in. "alright, thanks," wolfpaw muttered, looking at the herbs the patrol acquired. "You can go now, I'll make sure these get to the herb store," he told them before dismissing the three with a wave of his tail.

The sun was setting and it was clear that Acornpaw wasn’t going to join her and Honeypetal on patrol. Vi was a bit annoyed but not overly so. Not her problem. She stalked in with the poppy heads and dropped them at Wolfpaw’s… well, paws. "Here ‘ya go. I got four of em, Honeypetal got two of ‘em. Acornpaw met us in camp but never ended up leaving, I guess. Didn’t see her out with us." A shame, really, the apprentice had seemed excited to go. Ah, well.

Acornpaw

Acornpaw bursts into camp, out of breath and her fur fluffed up. She completely lost track of her patrol! She wandered off to find poppies & strayed too far from the group, next thing she knows, they've already left! She heaves labored breaths as she scans the camp for her patrol mates, sucking up a big gulp of air as she sees them before using her last bit of energy to sprint over.

"Whew- I'm... I'm sorry-" She pants, looking up at the faces now surrounding her, "I strayed... too far away. So sorry... ran all the way here-"

The worst part of it all is probably that she forgot to ask what poppies looked like- she really gets ahead of herself sometimes. After a couple moments to catch her breath, she can speak better, hopefully she's not in too deep a trouble.

"I should've stayed with the group, I shouldn't have wandered off. I was pretty useless to you guys, I'll do better in the future." She says aploogetically, her expression sincere.

Ah, the countless lessons on manners from her mother must still be branded into her memory. She used to get lectured often in her kithood, so the elements of a proper apology has been practically sewn into her very being.

Tired. The prey pile was low. He was falling behind. Becoming the things he'd hated and it was driving him up a wall. With a ragged sigh, Spiderthroat looked around at the felines nearest to him.

"It's that time for patrols. I call your name you show up! Listen up!" he began, sucking in a breath.

The deputy pawsed (haha) giving the lot he called up time to get up here and respond. If they didn't respond...he'd simply move on with out them. Slackers would be punished accordingly.

"Present." Antpaw meows, stepping forward. His expression is grumpy as usual. He really wonders why he keeps getting called on patrols so often, but he's rarely called for training sessions. Maybe it was because the higher ranks recognized his potential and thought he would do better in real situations? He hoped so.

For now, he doesn't see anyone he particularly has a problem with. Yet. Antpaw sits down, licks his paw, and waits for further instructions. He liked Spiderthroat. He was a good deputy.
