Almost glad Softpetal had said it first, Fishfin looked at their two, small pieces of prey. Did he really want to hunt? No. Not at all. But the right thing was to hunt for the clan, and to make sure that no one went hungry. So with a small sigh, he stood, padding deeper into the forest until he could scent a squirrel. Rare at this time of year, but he wasn't about to complain. Sliding forward toward the busily eating rodent, he lunged at the last moment, claws digging into it's flesh and fur and pinning it before he bit down, killing it before it could alert other animals of it's presence. Because not telling every animal in the forest you were hunting was generally a good idea. @Falco

He was succeeding, his apprentice clearly weakening under the onslaught, and although Fleetwind himself was a bit out of shape and was beginning to tire, he figured with a big, fairly final push he could pin her, or trap her in a corner. As Falconpaw stumbled one more time, he lept forward, hoping to make contact with the smaller apprentice. He wouldn't hit her hard enough to do serious damage, or throw her to the ground to hard, just hard enough to knock her over. If she fell, the next step was a pin, but if she still had some of her energy, the quick she-cat would likely avoid him. @Larkstripe

Falconpaw’s eyes flashed with panic and she leapt to the side, doing everything she could to evade the warrior’s blows—at this point, offense was off the table. She was too fatigued to launch an attack, and instead, focused on evasion. She took a deep breath, steadying herself and clearing her mind.

Thrushheart nodded and took her kit from her. The tom stayed close to her as they walked, so she could make sure her kit was okay. He didn't want her to worry about Meadow. "Your fine. You've been through a lot.", Thrushheart meowed.

The Warrior ducked into the Cave, standing in front of the entrance, looking around the space for a few moments to make sure there weren't too many other Mentors training their apprentices. Once she deemed it was alright she fully walked into the cave.

"I never finished my last training session...and I had planned on you watching a set up fight during the patrol...but that didn't go quite as planned with our Patrol member dissapearing...and your incident." she hummed. Half lidded eyes turned to look at Forestpaw. "Speaking of which, did Frostbreeze say you were okay to begin training again?" she asked, narrowing her eyes.

Crowskip looked up at Thrushheart, infinitely grateful. Her paws still dragged and she trailed just a little behind. She just grunted her thanks. Hopefully if she could get a nap once she was in the camp, she could thank him properly.

Pigeonhop nodded his head, green eyes studying the ground.
"Yeah, it does" The tom admitted, frustration edging his tone, not exactly happy about remembering the tasks he'd failed to complete due to his useless leg.

Forestpaw couldn’t help but laugh. First time blind. What an odd thing to say! After a one time she sniffed the air searching for prey. After a bit she scented a mouse and she dropped into a hunting crouch. It was weird not to pounce on the mouse and instead let out a large “mreow” and send it running away terrified. She made sure it veered in the direction of Jaypaw then she waited. Her turn was done now it was Jaypaw’s part.
