Cloudwillows eyes widened. She wasn't expecting an apprentice! But, nonetheless, she was excited and determined to train the apprentice as best as she could. She looked around for Ferretpaw, and shot her leader a grateful and appreciative look.She saw the small tom come padding over to her and she bent her neck down to touch noses with him. "You'll be the best warrior." She whispered the promise to the tom.

Ferretpaw touched his nose back to her's before sitting down. "I-i hope so." He mumbled, a small purr escaping him. It made him a little more happy that almost all his friends were apprentices with him. Soon Snowkit would be to!

Hoping I got the right mention for Slatestripe-

The little she-cat brightened when Pikestar first said her name. She was gonna be an apprentice! Wow, wow, wow! She waited anxiously in the group of other young cats until Pikestar named them apprentices. When her new name left his maw she almost squealed in delight. Autumnpaw. That had a very nice ring to it. As he began to list mentors, she squirmed in place. Her name was one of the last, paired with Slatestripe. Okay, she could find him. She looked around for the tom, standing and peering around the crowd.

Mintpaw didn't notice the warrior until a red, brown and white pelt stood directly in front of her. Her mind was still whirling with the awareness of being alone again. I don't know you. Where is Slatestripe? But the dark warrior was already leaning toward a pretty calico she-cat, touching noses with her to mark the beginning of a new path. But it won't be mine.
It felt stupid, and yet she couldn't help it.

As her new mentor approached her, Fawnleap's voice sounded cold and distant in Mintpaw's ears. She lowered her gaze and replied blankly, knowing that she was supposed to touch noses with her before anything else. "I'm Mintk.. Mintpaw."
Every second that passed, her sleek body felt hotter and hotter in self-consciousness and her head wandered away from the uncomfortable present. With a last effort, she lifted her head and craned her neck to touch noses with. Fawnleap. Cold shivers run through her limbs, and she closed off her eyes to block everything else out.

Reedwhisker stared at Pikestar as he continued the meeting. There were to be multiple new apprentices paired up with mentors. Now, that was interesting! Some good news despite all the bad news that has been given recently. And of course, as per Clan tradition, each name had to be called out in celebration. With a rumbling purr in her throat, the dark brown she-cat decided that she would start the cheers off to celebrate the future of RiverClan.

"Robinpaw! Spiderpaw! Bouncepaw! Minnowpaw! Bluebellpaw! Ferretpaw! Autumnpaw! Mintpaw!" About halfway through the cheers, she took a breath and resumed, beaming with happiness. Do well, young ones... the she-cat knew the apprentices wouldn't really be paying attention to her, but she dipped her head in respect and wished them all luck with their training silently.

Littlepaw was rather unamused at the aspect of multiple new denmates. The apprentices' den was getting VERY crowded now. Yes, it just meant more warmth during leaf-fall and leaf-bare, but it would be very uncomfortable to be avoiding everyone's tails and paws when walking in or out of the den. At least I'm not going to be in the den for too much longer. I should be becoming a warrior this meeting, right? All my training's done...

"Congratulations, everyone!" she purred, not feeling the need to yowl out so many names at once. A simple congratulations should suffice, right?

Silverpaw beamed at the amount of new apprentices. It was going to be warm this winter, at least! She chanted the names of the new apprentices happily.
"Robinpaw! Spiderpaw! Bouncepaw! Minnowpaw! Bluebellpaw! Ferretpaw! Autumnpaw! Mintpaw!" She was excited to see so many new faces training to be warriors of RiverClan.

Slatestripe was more than pleased to receive an apprentice, although he was surprised it wasn’t Mintpaw. He’d been expecting, and hoping, to get that little kit as an apprentice. But no worries; he could still maintain a connection to her.

His eyes swept toward his actual apprentice, the cat who he knew now needed to be his primary focus. His first ever apprentice. He settled on her, a calico with amber eyes that were searching for him. Slatestripe strode across the clearing, confident and proud.

“Hello Autumnpaw!” he chirped happily. “I’m Slatestripe.” He bent down to touch noses with her.
