Blueface scented around for another mouse. instead of finding mouse scent though, he scented...
"squirrel!"blueface mewed and shot after the scent, hot on it's trail. he pounded through the forest following the squirrel. [you can have Meadowvalley catch it if you want.]

Meadowvalley watched Blueface dart after the squirrel, but she found a easier route. She was about to tell Blueface but he was gone already. "Let's see who get's this one first," she meowed, taking off to the shortcut. She ran through the cover of the trees and through some bushes. She could scent the squirrel just ahead. Meadowvalley looked over her right shoulder and saw Blueface running behind her but a far way to the right keeping his eyes on the squirrel not knowing she was there. She looked back in front of her and was two fox lengths from the squirrel. Meadowvalley did the biggest and farthest leap she had ever done and seen. The squirrel shot it's head up and tried to climb the tree that was beside it. It was too late. Meadowvalley hooked her claws into it when it was on the tree and killed it at once. She took the prey in her jaws and put her two front legs off of the tree. She stood their standing with her green eyes staring into Blueface's. "Well, I got the squirrel first," she meowed, putting the prey down. "Not that it was a challenge or anything..." she trailed off still looking at Blueface.

"I guess you got to it first," he mewed, his eyes shining,"why don't we take our catches back to camp?"

Linnetwing didn't really know if she deserved a rank. She was hard working yes, but her self esteem was low. Plus she hadn't been back for very long, but at least she didn't abandon her clan. That was something she would never do. "Not sure if I deserve anything right now.", Linnetwing meowed in a sigh. She wasn't exactly the same as before. Her personality was different. She didn't believe in herself no more. "It's good to see you as well.", she added.

Forestpaw nodded determined even though her tail twitched nervously. She really hated fighting. It always seemed so dangerous and had bad results. Like death or injury. But from what Sageflurry said the last training session maybe fighting wasn’t all that bad. She quickly dropped down into a slightly crooked defensive stance. Okay it was pretty bad at first until she saw what Sageflurry was doing and copied her to the best of Forestpaw’s abilities. Front legs pressed. Shoulder width. Tail hovering slightly above the ground. Out of habit her tail swished and she lowered her head a little eye sparkling.

Falconpaw knew the squirrel had to be around her somewhere. She had snagged it in the undergrowth, but it managed to escape, wounded. Tiny beads of scarlet blood dotted the grass alongside the ThunderClan/RiverClan border. The smoke tabby apprentice inhaled deeply, the musky scent of squirrel blood flooding her nostrils. She narrowed her lemon yellow eyes--she couldn't see or hear any sign of it. Frustrated and weary, she padded down to the bank to lap up some cool water, her tufted ears perked at attention as she drank.

He frowned "you do deserve at least something " he meowed . At least some sort of special recognition! She's done more than Dusk has.. Which was a lot of criticism coming from him.. "Anywho ....wanna hunt a little with me?" he smiled . Perhaps a good way to get their mind off of things.
